If you want footy this is the place or infact a sunny spot with decent food at an affordable price and good service! football matches streamed, there is several tvs showing a mix of games and outdoor seating as sun trap! My boys were chuffed having the footy, as were they with the food portions! Crickey....never the less wonderful grub if you fancy some home cooked bits but also offered mini tapas plates at affordable prices with a view of the sea to top it off! Infact I can back half a stone heavier that's for sure the food was that comforting! Amazing nachos and chilli cheese poppers, as are the burgers- the chilli popper was my fave with chips and coleslaw... (can definitely be shared could just about fit my jaw around it!) So I agree with previous post of America portions. Same with sons fresh fish and chips... was larger than my son's head! My partner and eldest son are big eaters and the dishes were a challenge to food coma point but left full satisfied and certainly hit the spot. The menu is varied and we couldn't resist starters to share x2 for 5 of us. What a fatal mistake...super tasty but filling! On the menu they offer children's portions of meals and family friendly in general removing items and swapping bits off fussy younger eaters. we went one eve and one daytime(both weekdays out of term time) the weekend we passed looked lively with a stag and hen besides this cannot comment! Staff very helpful at finding us a table outside as a family of 5 and also very swift service! Many...
Read moreOur party of 5 stopped off for some cocktails tonight on our way home from dinner and back to our hotel. The place was relatively quiet, only about 10 others. We ordered our drinks from a male waiter and also asked him to fill up the baby's sippy cup with water. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks to be brought to us. A female waitress dropped down 3 drinks by practically slapping them off the table and then 10 minutes later the male who took the drinks order brought back the other 2 drinks. We reminded him of the baby's water we asked for and he went off to get that as he had forgotten. It took him another 5 minutes to bring it back. We drank up our drinks and I went to the counter to pay, checked my bill after he printed it out and he openly sighed and muttered under his breath when I checked it before paying. Our overall experience tonight is that the waiting staff are really slow and extremely rude, they made us feel like we were a nuisance or that they'd rather be anywhere but working there. Not an enjoyable experience for our last holiday drinks before heading home. Would...
Read moreHad breakfast here, quality of the Irish breakfast i had and my families was 5 star but unfortunately the service was appaling, we got tea and ordered food on arrival, breakfast came which was lovely but we never seen our waiter or any other again, I was going to order more tea as we had both finished our cups and waters for my son and daughter when the young lad came back with the toast. He never even came back and forgot about our toast, we ran out of ketchup, had no drinks and no toast and never once seen any waiter or was asked how it was. We sat outside around the corner so I suppose we were just forgotten. Eventually about 10 mins after we had finished(25-30 mins after being served) the chap came back and said are yous finished. I told him he forgot our toast and he said did I, I said annoyed yes you did and he said do you want it, I hardly wanted it on its own 10 mins after finishing my Breakfast. Its a pity cause we would have liked to eat here again but wouldn't return with...
