Visited the restaurant as it has been recommended to me as a great place to have typical Andalusian seafood. The waiter was cold and didn’t even bring us a second menu, yet semi-threw a plate of two stale buns (looked and tased like they were from the day prior, still got charged for them though) and left, after we ordered two glasses of white wine, without saying a word. He returned with the wine and we ordered - weird experience. Again not talking to us, we ordered the fried cod (which was pretty good) and the fried calamari. The fried calamari seemed like there were just traces of batter and the calamari itself was as tough as biting into a Michelin tire.

Honestly, the experience might have been better if the service wasn’t that bad. But we felt like the staff was kind of looking down on us. An excellent personalized service. My friends and I, five, were there last week for the May special menu. It was crowded- lunch time - all the tables were taken except one on the sidewalk facing the beach. Although we would have had to wait because there was a waiting list, a waiter spotted that we had two seniors. He immediately seated us there. In minutes, it started to rain and the wind blowing as we were getting ready to order. Not only one, but several waiters came by and spoke individually with each of the six or seven groups. They were not going to serve us, and they were going to bring us inside as tables became available. Their explanation: we were uncomfortable and cold, and the food was going to get cold, too. The place was highly rated, BUT the quality of food is not so good. While some dishes were very good and interesting, some were of poor quality. We ordered grilled calimary and it was not very warm and not soft, rather overdone. It seemed like it was done in a rush and waited for a long time to be served.We ordered brownie with ice-cream, they brought it before the meal, and it was burned. Quality of service is terrible,⁹ they brought us to the table and it was not cleaned properly, we had to wait for a long time asking to have it cleaned. Personnel not attentive and not welcoming, a lot of visitors so they don't care.If you want terrible service, you can try it.
