I recently had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional steak restaurant, and it was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was met with an ambiance that exuded warmth and sophistication.

Positives, good location, welcoming, availability, drinks. Negatives. The starter was poorly presented, dry cured meats and hard cheese, seen better in packaging. Felt there was an opportunity there to make it look nice. I ordered mix grill, 3 cuts of beef, some ribs and two types of sausage - chorizo and don't know what the other was. One cut of beef dry, the other very grisly, fibs were bland. Presentation was poor too, expect some colour on a plate not just a huge plate of brown mear. My partner had the TBone. Was huge, asked for medium rare. One side seemed cisullah OK other side was a bloody mess. Not cooked for right amount of time. All beef we ordered was chewy and not what I'd expect.

In fairness, other items on menu looked better but we wish we went next door instead for food.

Experience was in march so maybe they using poor ingredients as I don't feel it was fresh, maybe this contributed to our experience and was a one off.

Cor Blimey Guvnor! Whilst entering the restaurant, a lady was devouring a gargantuan steak, prompting us (2 couples) to enquire about which steak she had ordered. Her plate, overflowing with steak, was the 350g /12oz + RibEye......

This allowed us to gauge the size of the steaks on offer within the refreshingly simple menu choices.

Given the pending carnivorous feast to be presented, we decide d to for-go a starter and 4 10oz + steaks with chips we're ordered, along with drinks.

The order didn't take long to arrive via the very pleasant Scottish fella.... And my goodness it was worth the short weight.

Hand on heart, this was the most delicious, perfectly cooked steak I've ever enjoyed... And for that price too (and I've had many)!

If you love steak.... Don't...
