Restaurante Pepe El Cordobés — Restaurant in Benalmádena

Difficuly one. We had 2 visits last week. Myself, wife and 7 year old son who appreciates his food. First visit on Tuesday 22nd, where we were warmly greeted, by a male waiter. we opted for the offer of 2 steaks and a bottle of tino. My son had his own dish of a plate of anchovies. We also were provided bread olives and a lovely dip. We really enjoyed our meal and experince. My son, then had a lovely dessert, whilst i had an irish coffee. The staff on duty were great and we left very happy. 2 days later we returned, same male staff were there, but we were greeted ( i use that term generiously), by a miserable female waitress, Sat us down, and rushed us from the outset. So although we were going be more experimental with our options, again opted for the deal, this time the Sole. My son had a mixed fried fish dish. She treated us like trash form the start. I monitored others in the restaurant, and we were the only customers that did not receive bread olives etc. Not offerd at all. Our food was satisfatory, but i was unable to enjoy it due to the atmosphere this shocking indiviual had created. We just eat our food. Before we had finished, she approached to start removing our plates, i was actually still holding my folk, and my wife was having a sip of her wine also not finished. This really upset my wife. The waitress just stood there lingering. So before we were really ready i let her remove our plates, in order to get rid of our presence. We were not offered desserts??? Strange, strange, strange. I then asked for the bill. Which she produced in record time, but stood over us for payment. I do not usually lose my temper, but i asked her to go away. She was the rudest. souless individual i have had the displeasure to meet in a very long time, and a disgrace to your establishment. She deserves a sturn word, retraining or perhaps a job outside of hospitality. If the laguage barrier was an issue then we did try our best, She made no effort. For Shame. She spoilt the eveing for our family. we left absolutely...

There was a cue for lunch so myself and wife joined, the place was full but we wanted to try some Spanish food, it looked like we were the only English speaking people there, when our turn came after a 25min wait which we had no issue with, the waiter beckoned us to follow him to the side of the restaurant away from all the customers behind some fridges/ice cream machines, I presumed at this stage that they were going to start moving customers out here to reduce the cue, but that didn’t happen, just the 2 of us sitting out here, I have never felt so embarrassed in a restaurant in my life, the cue was still there and people were just looking at us, after waiting for our food for 45mins which didn’t come we decided to leave, we paid for the drinks we had but they were insisting we paid for the food also as they said it was nearly ready, I 100% all this happened because we were not Spanish,...

BAD FOOD, EVEN WORSE ATTITUDE!

My wife and I stopped here for a spot of lunch. My wife ordered salad and I ordered eggs and chips. The meal came and the chips (frozen not fresh) were barely warm but both the egg whites we still raw in the middle and looked like snot. When I complained they said they would sort it. About 10 minutes later my meal came back! The eggs were now broken to bits (scrambled) and over cooked but the chips were now cold (same chips I had sent back as the ketchup was still on them !). My wife's salad also looked like it had been hanging around for days. When I again sent it back and said the chips are now cold, I didn't want it at all now.
