Taperia La Bodeguita — Restaurant in Benalmádena

We came here after searching the whole marina for a traditional spanish restaurant (tapas etc). After the initial disappointment of finding nothing in the marina, the discovery of this place made life as beautiful as angles coming down from the fluffy white clouds singing one note together as if you were in the Sevillia or Cordoba monasteries. After asking the host if they still serve any food, they politely told us that the kitchen is closing in 15 min (we got there late..) but they'll make a last night push. We sat down at the table and ordered in a beautiful decor of spanish life and spanish music. Exactly what one would expect. We got our tapas, our drinks and proceeded on with our meal. Host was great, as the entire staff. Made you feel welcomed and a wery nice and worm atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for traditional spanish food. It's a beautiful little spot that feels spanish against the more English influenced places nearby, it was a cosy fit under the balcony but the plants and shade gave a lovely atmosphere. The tapas is amazing there and the best way to try as many different plats as possible (They're all amazing but be sure to try the iberico cheek) The service was excellent, and he really appreciated our efforts in trying to order in Spanish without defaulting to English. But when another table came in with no Spanish at all he was happy to serve them in English. My favourite spot so...

hola people, that was such a lovely restaurant visit! 10/10! we had many different tapas: paella, piemetos padron, croquetas, chorizo, prawn & chicken skewer, batatas aioli - and it was delicious! we particularly would recommend the chicken croquetas and the paella because those were outstanding! the wines & the sangria were also delish! we also loved the chocolate cake as a dessert, that was homemade my the owner - just amazing! it’s a family business & everyone was super lovely, nice and welcoming, they are great hosts. we would really recommend coming here!...
