I ate at this place on 08/10/22. The price of the food was on point and the food itself was nice. I ordered a prawn cocktail and pint of San Miguel and both were nice. My friend ordered a burger and chips with a strawberry milkshake and he enjoyed the food.
The young lady who was at the front of the restaurant was an absolute pleasure.. she was very friendly, had an Infectious personality and never stopped. When she wasn't working at the front she was bringing out meals, asking if everything was OK etc. 8 out of 10 for the food and 10 out of 10 for the young lady at the front of the restaurant.
Update - i enjoyed the food and service from a few days ago so I decided I was going back to this place today around lunch time (12:30 ish ) today (10.11.22) and as I was walking towards the restaurant I couldn't believe what I seen and heard. The owner of the restaurant was speaking to an employee in a way that I wouldn't speak to a dog.. it was nothing short of disgusting and he should be ashamed of himself. What I couldn't believe was... the employee he was screaming at was the same young lady I praised from a few days ago. If it wasn't for that young lady, her Infectious personality and welcoming hospitality then I would never have stepped foot in the place to begin with. After witnessing this I decided to carry on walking and find somewhere else to eat.
SHAME ON THE OWNER!!! You should realise you're only as good as your staff and you should treat others how you want to be treated (or spoken to in...
Read moreWe decided to give this place a chance in our search for a gluten-free meal. The staff was genuinely helpful, but the knowledge of gluten seemed a bit worse and varied. We ordered a jacked potato with ham/cheese that was alright. We also ordered a chicken nacho plate, it was a complete disappointment. It was supposed to be served with salsa, sour cream and guacamole. There was no seasoning at all and we never got any salsa nor sour cream. The guacamole was a small avocado mashed with some lime/lemon, no garlic or seasoning. The entire dish was rather boring. I dont know if it was their way or if it was because I ordered gluten-free, however when I made the order I didn't get the impression they would serve it the way they did. We got 5 euro off the bill so I guess that's something and it was gluten-free. The time for the food to arrive was also a bit long, especially since there wasn't many customers at the time. Conclusion: Not worth it, especially if you have celiac disease. There are better alternatives even if it is...
Read moreI’d seen this place offers vegan options and it comes up as one of the highest results when you search for vegan food in Benalmadena. They advertise a vegan menu but, whilst the staff were lovely and very charming, it became apparent that none of the front of house actually know what vegan means. Even after explicitly saying vegan - no meat/milk/egg - a few times, and being offered another plate for my partners cheese & ham pizza, I was served a beef bolognese which my omni partner was luckily able to try and tell me it was meat before I took a mouthful. There was confusion between vegan and gluten free, and I was also offered fish/lactose-free options when trying to figure out a resolution. Eventually I got a spaghetti with pesto and vegetables but it did leave me sceptical about the ‘vegan menu’ and my partner was sat with half of his meal for 10 minutes before my rectified meal came out. His food was nice but relatively basic. I would personally avoid if you are vegan...
