We are from the UK on a family holiday and 7 of us came here for a birthday meal with 3 children aged 9,7 and 2, and 4 adults.
we chose D-Vora because we was told they have a children's menu. NO THEY NEVER, and they have baby high chairs? What for if they don't cater for children.
On arrival, we was welcomed and escorted to our seating area, which was at the back of the D-Vora restaurant, to which we think it's because we had children with us.
As we were deciding where to sit ( still standing ), a waiter came over and asked what we wanted to drink. In shock, I said we have not sat down yet, yet I come back in 10 minutes.
Ordered our drinks and sat chatting waiting for our menu's to arrive, 20 minutes later a waiter came over to take our orders, again in shock we asked where is our menu's to which he said we do paperless menu and you have to scan the QR CODE on the table to which he was told that no one has told us this, so told him to come back.
By this time we were ready to leave from the terrible service we was receiving from the staff.
After we ordered our food, another 30 minutes had passed, so roughly 70 minutes of being messed about by staff.
The food was fantastic, and I have never had coffee butterceith a steak before and was just amazing.
I will definitely visit D-Vora restaurant again on my next trip, and hopefully, the service...
Read moreWe had an unforgettable dinner at D’vora — hands down one of the best dining experiences in Benidorm. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend booking in advance and requesting a table on the terrace. The sea view is absolutely stunning, with waves crashing against the rocks below and a panoramic view over Levante beach — pure magic.
For starters, we had the steak tartare and the sea bass ceviche. Both were exceptional, with unique and creative twists that complemented each other beautifully. We paired our meal with one of the recommended wines (the most expensive on the list, and still only €27!), and it was a perfect match.
For mains, we tried the burger and the Iberico pork with sweet potato and chimichurri. The burger was solid — definitely above average — but the pork dish stole the show. The combination of Iberico pork, chimichurri, and a slightly spicy sauce was out of this world. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet potato personally, but that’s just a matter of taste — the dish overall was excellent. I would’ve loved even more of that chimichurri!
Dessert was the grand finale: a brownie with homemade banana ice cream that was nothing short of orgasmic. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had.
The final bill came to just over €120, which felt like an incredible value given the quality, creativity, and atmosphere. Highly,...
Read moreAWFUL!!!! Pricey, unprofessional, low standards, small portioned bland food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! been here for dinner on a Monday as me and my gf wanted to bring her family and enjoy the terrace view while having food. First and last time. Unfortunately the only thing that this restaurant has to offer, is the view. My gf mums had 3 prowns swimming in a oily risotto. Our beet hummus and focaccia was dusted with spices and jalapeño (my gf can't have anything even slightly spicy). Dish sent back as is not listed spicy on the menu. Beet came back with 4 little triangules of absolutely hard "focaccia" (i'm italian and that was nothing like focaccia, more flat bread) which seemed the same focaccia from first dish just re-heated. I flagged to the waitress that one more time, i couldn't eat my 13€ (!!!!!) dish. Conclusion they came with a basket of regular bread (€1.80) and just throw it on my table without any comments. Let's not talk about my 14€ white asparagus, that had 4 tiny asparagus, most of which we couldn't eat as they served the hard uncewable stems part. I also tried to inform the manager, which put on our bill 30% off ONLY on the beet hummus 😳 no apologies or just the dish off as it all seemed an unprofessional lack of service (and taste) from the kitchen team, which i'm afraid your front of house couldn't handle AT ALL....
