Daytona Rock — Restaurant in Benidorm

We gave this bar a couple of tries, because a bad first impression might not reflect the truth. On our first night, the waiter insisted on having one order, just because one person in our group was still deciding what he wanted to drink. The waiter's excuse for putting pressure on us? He was tired of walking around! (His words). So he just stood there, while he could have been taking care of our other orders. Ordering a second round was more difficult because he simply was more busy smoking cigarettes and chatting with his colleagues. When we paid, we explicitly asked for a receipt. It never came, even after asking a second time.

On the second night, we thought "ah let's give it another shot". Different waiter, same attitude. This one was not nice at all, he acted like he was doing us a favour! After bringing our drinks, he insisted on getting paid on the moment (no problem with that, we understand). But he didn't want to be paid separately, so we had pay everything as a whole and then do the math within the group. Seriously? Freaking ridiculous. Plus, when I get a receipt, I demand to read what I ordered, not "Vários". The waiter refused to bring us a menu (maybe he was tired as well?), so I can't even check the price of the "Vários" drink that I ordered.

We also could not avoid noticing how different the staff's attitude was when dealing with UK customers, we didn't feel welcome at all. Will never return, and don't let the coupon delivery girl fool you either.

Overpriced drinks, no receipts, "rock" music super loud, very very rude...

Beach front, good music nice beer. It loses two stars simply for having an attendant in the toilet, how annoying. I've been going to the toilet by myself for many years, I do not need someone handing me a paper towel and looking for a handout. If I want to buy flipping lollipops I'll go to a shop, same for aftershave and all the other nonsense that has no place in the toilet of a rock bar. I'm still bloody annoyed. Ps, who wants lollipops covered in what sprays up from a flushing toilet. Sort it out daytona. The music, the beer and the Atmosphere were good though. I'm not sure I'll ever get over the...

Went twice Both times the bar staff just seemed to ignore you whilst waiting First visit barman took my order then spotted to girls along the bar. Left me climbed up on the bar to kiss them both then started chatting to them. He did apologise after I managed to get a second barman to serve me. Second visit was a little bit better service. Sofa we sat on was a little worn which I can live with but my t short got stuck to the back of it leaving a mark. Atmosphere was great as was the view of the beech. Not the best place we have visited so far but...
