China garden — Restaurant in Benidorm

New year's day and desperate to find somewhere to eat in Benidorm. We stumbled across this restaurant and although we have had much nicer food, we were pleasantly surprised. We had a set menu for two, which had either soup or a spring roll starter. Very tasty 😋 and freshly cooked. The main we had two portions of fried rice, Portion of chips 🍟 and pork in a creamy sauce, crispy duck 🦆 chicken curry and a special omelette. All very tasty 😋 and cooked to perfection. Last year we visited Da Fa and had a very good meal hence our return visit. On this occasion my wife and I had the 7.80€ set meal. We both had vegetable spring rolls to start followed by sweet and sour chicken balls with chips and rice for our mains. The spring rolls were greasy and the chicken balls were covered in an under cooked soggy batter. The sweet and sour sauce was runny with hardly any vegetables. Been coming Benidorm many years and always thought China Garden would take some beating , but the dafa Chinese has now gone to my top spot ! On the main road to old town it's down a side street towards the beach just before th Christian church . It's spotless , and food is as tasty as I have had , well presented and ridiculously cheap .
