On both visits, during our week away the food was very nice I can't say that wasn't as that would be a lie. our first visit was perfect hense our return. service was also very good and efficient and quick. the second visit, took a while for us to be seen, and order our food. waiting times were very long, it appeared not many staff was in, as they were arriving about 7pm whilst we were waiting on even our starters, we had arrived at 6.25pm. Again once food had arrived it was nice, and very much enjoyed. The service just was not good on the second time round, it wasn't busy, so I'd assume the reasons for the long waits was lack of staff, and on both occasions the owner was doing very little. Wow, what a find this little gem is what a great restaurant the smell coming from front drew us in my wife had a fillet steak 21 euros cooked meduim rare I went for rack of bbq ribs 15.90 euros we also had prawns in a garlic sauce 11.50 I had a pint of larger 3 euros and wife had a vodka tonic 9 euros. The food was amazing. We went there yesterday evening having visited before.The place was quite empty even a few seats outside but we chose inside as we were a group. The drinks order was a disaster the girl waitress ddn t know the difference between a shandy and a Radler. 2 of the steaks were very rare even though we ordered Well done, we complained but nobody responded . Eventually the manager appeared after we ate some of the salad and chips and he started laughing and said we should have complained immediately which we did. Anyway we won't be going there again we'll find somewhere decent with good customer service. I want to reduce the star rating to ZERO if that is possible.Very unpleasant manager...
