Molta Pasta — Restaurant in Benidorm

Ordered two "homemade" french onion soups which looked like slop and had a bruschetta infused piece of cheese on it for €10 euro a plate it was grim to say the least. Was given gruff service! I firstly asked for draught and got a bottle then asked the manager to change! Got a look! Then the sharing garlic bread was a tad raw! Ordered two meals with penne pasta and received spiral pasta instead which is not what we wanted. One pasta dish was Carbonara. The first bite tasted like an ash tray, everything was burnt. Handed it back, no apology no free drink nothing! Asked if we wanted a replacement but not interested. I was practically thrown my calzone. It was dry but ok! Had to ask for pepper and parmesan. One of the issues in Benidorm is that parking on the street is rare to find, with few public parking garages. Therefore, when we saw a parking place, it didn’t matter the restaurant! We certainly lucked out with Molta Pasta! The restaurant has covered seating on the sidewalk so you can people watch. It also has indoor seating and patio seating. We started with very refreshing mojitos. We ordered a Caprese Salad and a Quatro Stagiones pizza. The Caprese Salad was amazing with red ripe tomatoes and the freshest Burrata I’ve ever had. Went here on the last night of our holiday. We were not approached by staff for a seat so we sat down any where, eventually a staff member came over asked if we would like a drink he was clearly not focused on his job and was all over the place 🤔.
