Very nice market. After walking around we tried this place for pintxos. They were good, especially the ham croquettes. Sangria was also delicious and I’m not a wine person. Very fruity. 2.50€ per pintxos and 4€ sangria. Super friendly staff, some of them speak really good English. Come before 12pm, after it gets really crowded and long waiting lines. There are plenty of sitting Inside but also get taken fast.

Пинчо Croqueta de bacalao - скрепленные одной шпажкой хлеб, крокет (de bacalao - с треской) и перчик. Вкусно, но сложно есть - высокий, нежный рыбный крокет начинает распадаться. Вермут тоже порадовал. Вообще во время нашего путешествия по Стране Басков приготовление вермута всегда было небольшим шоу. Попробуйте сами. Итог: на это всё потратили 12.1 евро. Очень вкусно и недорого.

Ya que estuve hospedado en el barrio de las 7 calles, fue mi primer punto de visita apenas llegué a Bilbao. Escogimos Arambarri, luego de mirar otras opciones. Fuimos muy bien atendidos y lo que comí me gustó muchísimo. Una cerveza 18/70, un pincho de croqueta de sepia en su tinta, otro de chipirón (calamar) apanado con alioli y finalmente uno de bacalao con su pimiento del padrón, que en esta oportunidad, fue de los "otros no" pican. Recomiendo.

Luego de mirar en el Perú, un programa de la televisión española, que hablaba sobre el mercado de la Ribera, lo anoté para visitarlo. Ya que estuve hospedado en el barrio de las 7 calles, fue mi primer punto de visita apenas llegué a Bilbao. Escogimos Arambarri, luego de mirar otras opciones. Fuimos muy bien atendidos y lo que comí me gustó muchísimo. Una cerveza 18/70, un pincho de croqueta de sepia en su tinta, otro de chipirón (calamar) apanado con alioli y finalmente uno de bacalao con su pimiento del padrón, que en esta oportunidad, fue de los "otros no" pican. Recomiendo.

A disappointing experience! They have a range of pintxos on offer so I was looking forward to trying them. However the quality and taste of some of the pintxos were awful, and the bread was hard. Without asking us, they microwaved our food for 30 seconds which didn’t heat them up properly so the pintxos was half cold and...
