Don Crepe — Restaurant in Bilbao

Okay this is going to be a raving good review so hold on tight:

You didn't know there is more to Bilbao when it comes to food then Pinxos? Well these are the best crêpes I ate with a long distance to number two (in Normandy probably). E.g. the pumpkin jam/yoghurt/cinnamon one was just magic ✨ 🪄

But wait there is more: the cook is the best host you didn't know you even wanted. He played the best jazz/blues on YouTube for me ... only for me

But wait there is more: after that he started playing the guitar himself, together with his friend who he teaches playing guitar

Well I dont know what more you want in a visit to a crêperie, but it exceeded my wildest expectations

Go there or you haven't...

The best welcome we have had in Bilbao. The host is brilliant at his job, friendly and clearly loves it (even when he's the only server and cook on a busy night). It's a tiny shop with amazing views of the city and the Guggenheim, but it's lovely and quiet as it's the other side of the river. The crepes are good, and so are the prices, but the atmosphere and hospitality is what made this a definite five stars. It's a one-man operation, so on a busy night some patience is required, but we did not mind at all sitting outside and enjoying the vibe...

MUY MAL TRATO. 3 amigas en el sitio. Consumieron 20 euros en productos. Tras una media hora allí llegué yo, y cuando fui a pedir nos dijo de malas maneras que esque ya llevaban una hora allí y que les había dicho a otros clientes que se sentarían en nuestra mesa... Cuando llegué y pedí un crepe, me dijo que lo tenía que comer rápido porque se había comprometido con otros clientes sin decirnos nada a que les daría nuestra mesa... A mayores del crepe mis amigas querían pedir café y Colacao, lo cual si no pedías un crepe no te sirven nada de cafetería, una Cocacola si, un café o Colacao no... Es decir 3 personas que habían consumido 20 euros y que luego seguían pidiendo con una cuarta persona recién llegada, nos encontramos con que ni nos sirve lo que queremos y si pido el crepe me lo tengo que comer rápido... Previamente a esto el hombre les dijo a estas 3 amigas mías que les pusiera una buena opinión... Cuando vimos la situación le dije que no me sirviera nada que nos íbamos y que así se sentaban esos clientes a los que les había prometido nuestra mesa sin consultarnos si íbamos a pedir más o venía más gente ni nada... Nos dijo que no nos enfadaramos por eso y aún así con dos narices nos pregunta si al final le pusimos las opiniones buenas en internet... Pues aquí dejo mi mala experiencia... No llegué ni a consumir en el lugar por la falta de educación y trato del encargado, que encima, cuando le digo que no quiero nada y que nos vamos me dice que si me pone el crepe para llevar y comérmelo por el camino... Pues aquí dejo mi pequeña y mala...
