My recent experience at Gastronomia Bilbao was an absolute triumph! As the organizer for our company's bespoke networking dinner, I couldn't have asked for a better venue or experience. From start to finish, Gastronomia Bilbao delivered excellence in every aspect.
The service was impeccable. The staff at Gastronomia Bilbao went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and attended to throughout the event. From coordinating dietary restrictions to seamlessly managing the flow of the evening, their professionalism and dedication were evident at every turn. First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was exquisite. The contemporary yet cozy atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for fostering meaningful connections and engaging conversations among our guests.
Now, let's talk about the food! Very good local wine was served plus local dishes were prepared in abundance for our guests. I must give an honourable mention to the incredible Basque cheese cake! Only if you try it you can understand.
In addition to the fantastic food and service, I must commend the manager for her flexibility and responsiveness during the planning process. She worked closely with me to tailor the menu and accommodations to our specific needs, ensuring that our event was executed flawlessly.

Read moreMy experience here was really amazing, though shamefully without more detailed pictures of the delicate food and the great selection of wine (but only the picture of an impressive red wine) The bar tenders have manifested their erudition and expertise of the notes of each wine, and the harmonica between them and food (especially the local anchovies!). But things go on also amazing with the food. My friend and I were astonished by the delicacy of a cold fish dish (local sashimi paired with two different kinds of creamy but without cream sauces, with notes of rosé and some nuts). And of course the juicy displayed in the fried mushrooms, with the fragrance of the truffle sauces, is also unforgettable!
