I have dined with Goiko before in different locations and always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately on this occasion the whole experience was more than terrible. Both food quality and service were shocking. We waited for around 20 minutes that was already booked. When seated at our table the initial service was fairly quick, but after that it's like they had got what they wanted and completely forgot we were there. It took nearly an hour for our starter (chicken wings) to arrive and when they did they were not cooked properly. We mentioned this to the server and he removed them from the table, only to return some 10 minutes later with the same wings with complete with the bite that had been taken out of one of the offending articles. After this it took a further hour to get our mains (while others that had arrived later were served food ahead of us). The burgers that were served were cold, with unmelted cheese and at point practically blue. We didn't go through the process of trying to talk to our server about this as we were starving and feared it may take another hour for them to microwave the same half eaten burgers and return them to the table. If we had of asked our server for this assistance he would probably have been to busy dancing around and joking by the pass with his colleagues, which seemed to be their main concern. When we asked for the bill we were clear with our server that things had been pretty shocking. We were then given the wrong bill and when the correct bill turned up we had been waiting nearly a further 30 minutes to pay. At this point we were prepared to walk out without paying, when at this point our server took a break from the staff party to chase us with a card machine. We for the second time politely made our feelings on the experience known, but he was very much not interested and offered us nothing more than half hearted apology. I will not be returning to this Goiko and I will definitely think twice about using them anywhere in general.
It has now been 3 weeks and I have not received any contact from Goiko apart from this on the 9th...

Received cold chicken wings (they are clearly frozen before) when we told the waiter he took the plate and put it in the microwave and gave it back to us. It was clear as the plate looked exactly the same and everything was hot including the red onions and plate. Our burgers came, cold with cold fries and the cheese not melted so clearly put on last minute. We spoke to the waiter and he seemed to not really care. Read moreThey refuse to give you tap water, you have to buy one. The time before the last time we were there they sit us right next to another table instead of keeping a longer appropriate distance. This one isn't to the standard to the franchise the meat size in the burger the size variates depending the day I don't know why, the last time we were there they didn't have ketchup. We asked long fries with the two burgers even the waiter repeated the order right although only got it right for one and when they brought the long fries that were missing they were cold and not enough cooked we didn't ask for them to change it again.
