I went to this place years ago, when it was in a smaller place nearby, and had a good impresion. Came back to celebrate my birthday and the experience was awful. Mediocre food. One of the dishes was really good but all the others really not worth it. I had an amazing memory lf the baklava and this time I did not like it. Bad service. I called to book a table for 8 people at 21:30, they said that it had to be either 21:00 or 22:00 so I chose the later. At 23:00 they started pressing us, gave us the bill one second after they brought the baklava with a candle, making me stop opening the presents to pay. The owner/manager started to open the door so the freezing wind would come in and put all the workers, already in street clothes, to wait behind us while talking so loudly (instead of letting them go?). One of my friends went to the bathroom and heard one of the waiters saying: you have just cleaned it, right?? We were out by 23:37 with our baklavas in a napkin. As someone with more than 5 years of experience in vegan hospitality, not recommended,...
Read moreWas excited to go to this spot as there were several vegan options on the menu, which is true and appreciated.
The vegan gyros (mushrooms) was indeed amazing, the vegan empanadas on the dry side.
However, my experience was not that great. As I entered and ask for a free spot I was welcomed by big unnerved sigh and waving me to a free spot. The rest felt like they neither wanted me there nor wanted to be there themselves. Even during my eating the service talk loudly pointing and waving at my table (wanting to free it as quick as possible), and even before I could take a first sip of coffee the bill was presented to me. Btw I am one of the quickest eaters I know (so the whole dinner was not longer than 20-25 minutes on Monday evening (~8pm) of all times)
Overall, if you want a great food with several vegan options and you eat very quickly - definitely yes. If you want to take your time and enjoy yourself and the service - go...
Read moreThis place was an extreme disappointment. Especially to call themselves Greek food - this is a statement they do not meet. Our food was bland and way too salty. My Vega gyros tasted flat with no flavor. The fries were extremely salty. The pies were disgusting and tasted terrible. The pies were also extremely salty. One of the pies had minced chicken bones on the inside - gross. The moussaka was so salty we could only take two bites. The flavor was also underwhelming as well and tasted nothing like the real thing. In total we ordered a vegan gyros, 2 pies, moussaka, and a yogurt. All were overly salty and none were edible. We couldn’t even finish! The yogurt was just ok, nothing special. Maybe the cook was having a bad day? We feel like we were scammed. This is probably one of the worst food experiences I’ve had, I’m not sure how they are getting any...
