Sumo people have done their research when it comes to japanese food and helped Bilbao people to be gently introduced to sushi and this asian culture. This tiny place's concept is simple and practical: its a take-away sushi place. Quality is very good but not outstanding. You can get just a bite or an entire roll, and they have that option to charge you just for that which is odd but convient for those first-timers. They have some famous japanese beers and "healthy" tea-based drinks in their fridge for a complete meal. You may shop some other famous japanese products such as wasabi and nori snacks, and -Ingredients- to cook japanese food (okonomiyaki, sushi, etc.). What's inside the little brown bag? Nothing but absolute deliciousness! I came across this sushi place on a recent visit to Bilbao. I went back twice! Great staff, great food, reasonable prices. If you need a break from ham - head for Sumo. It's take-out only but there is a beautiful park nearby. I brought my dinner back to my hotel room and enjoyed it there. Pedí una bandeja para una persona, en la app era de 13 piezas en un principio, luego me dijeron que dependía del día te ponían 12 o 13 y lo que venía dentro variaba según el día, o sea que no he podido elegir.... Al final venían 12 piezas, 4 eran nigiris, que no sé si es que les han puesto wasabi a posta o se han "contaminado", pero a mí me los ha fastidiado porque nunca le pongo picante, no puedo con ello. Además las 12 piezas eran más pequeñas de lo esperado, y por 16€ me ha parecido caro, suelen costar 12€ o así este tipo de bandejas. Además, los otros, que eran 8 rollos dotakon, si que estaban muy ricos, pero por el precio que tienen (son los más baratos de todos los rollitos que tienen en la app), es que al final me ha salido más cara la bandeja que me han puesto, que si llego a pillar todo lo que venía dentro, pero por mi cuenta suelto! (mirando los precios en la app). Por eso no creo que repita, la verdad.
