I stumbled upon this little Mexican restaurant by complete accident, and it felt like striking culinary gold. It looked like it had just opened recently, but from the first bite, I knew this wasn’t your run-of-the-mill taco joint. This was next-level Mexican food, the kind you dream about but rarely find. We started with nachos as the appetizer, followed by a bonito burrito and shrimp tacos that were nothing short of amazing. Every dish was packed with flavor and good-sized portions, which left me both satisfied and already planning my next visit.

Since that first magical experience, we’ve been back twice. I’m not ashamed to admit that we can’t stay away. The burrito was stuffed to perfection, the shrimp tacos were fresh and flavorful, and even the nachos had this irresistible mix of textures and toppings that made them stand out. It’s the kind of place where you take a bite and immediately know you’ve found a new favorite. It doesn’t just serve great food—it makes you excited to come back.

I honestly can’t wait to visit again. It’s become our go-to spot, and with every meal, it keeps raising the bar. Whether it’s the generous portions, the mouthwatering flavors, or the sheer joy of discovering a hidden gem, this place has it all. Hola nosotros estuvimos cenando en el restaurante y hacía cuatro grados en la calle. Nuestra mesa estaba pegando a la cristalera exterior donde está la puerta de entrada del restaurante . Cuando nos sentamos sentimos que hacía frío pero bueno no le dimos mayor importancia pero según estaba pasando el tiempo había hasta corriente , era muy desagradable estar cenando del frío que hacía .Me fijé que la gente de alrededor estaba cenando con la ropa de abrigo. La verdad que sobre la cera estaba un poquito fría y el ambiente estaba frío las ,piernas se nos estaban quedando frías y eso que estábamos con los chambergos puestos. Lo más curioso de todo fue cuando le dijimos a la camarera que allí hacía frío y dijo ella que ya lo sabía que en esa zona hacía frío. Tengo que decir que el restaurante de no estaba lleno ,para que nos ubicarían en ese espacio y encima nos podían haber dicho antes de que allí hacía frío. Había ido en otras ocasiones y la verdad es que me había gustado mucho, pero ayer pasamos tanto frío y la comida no estaba nada caliente, que en otro momento lo pensaré si voy o no voy claro en...

Desde que ya no es Txokomex se nota mucho el cambio. Han subido muchísimo los precios (hasta 3€ algunos de los platos) pero es que encima las raciones son menores. Los tacos decepcionantes, su tamaño era mínimo, me quedé impresionada porque cuestan 3'5€ y la torta es tan pequeña que ni cierra y te pringas entero. Los guisos no están mal, pero eran mejores antes. La puerta de la calle no cierra bien así que pasamos todos muchísimo frío dentro. El servicio super lento también, teníamos reserva a las 14:30 y yo, por ejemplo, fui la última en comer el plato principal que salió sobre las 16 o así, cuando muchos de mis amigos ya habían terminado de comer. En mi opinión excesivamente caro para el tamaño de las raciones sumado a la lentitud del servicio y la incomodidad del frío que pasé. Eso sí, el trato del personal es muy bueno, ojalá tuvieran en cuenta todos estos "fallos" para mejorar los tiempos de espera, la puerta y...
