Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Burgos

If you like good sushi, I highly recommend this restaurant! Always fresh and delicious. They have the traditional sushi but also have their own mixes which are even more delicious, I recommend trying the "sibuya roll".

Seating and design are very pleasant.

If you're non Spanish speaking like me, it's okay, they have a menu in English.

I have edited this review from 5 stars to 3 stars since I wrote it last to reflect on my lastest visits. The service has gotten substantially worse than before. It takes forever to call someone even though the place is not that busy, and then takes another substantial amount of time for that request to be done. If I had ordered a drink I would expect that to be brought first as every other restaurant, but I had to remind the waiters (more than one, and more than once) to bring the water and our drinks first. The staff just didn't seem to care.

Also I have noticed that during my last 2-3 visits the food was brought in batches, one plate followed by a 20 minutes wait for the 2nd plate.. and so on. Which makes it an unpleasant eating experience as 1 person will be eating and the other will be looking at them waiting. Bring all the food together! At the very least, 5 minutes apart, not 20!

The prices are higher compared to other sushi places, which was acceptable considering this is a "higher end" place, but they wouldn't be if the service remains this bad.

Maybe it was the large group that kinda brought the experience down a little bit because of them making too much noise. Not the resaurants fault at all. We did get an ok table (not expecting anything else) but there was a bit of a language barrier and even though the food was good, the over all experience was mediocre at best - but as I say, it was probably because of other guests but not the restaurant itself. Though, I'd like a tourist place like this (and such a good restaurant) to be able to speak the bare minimum of english. But hey, the staff did an excellent job and they were better than most of the places we visited. Kudos to them considering the massive influx of tourists because of the Dance World Cup being held in their small, but extremely cozy and beautiful town. We were able to get a last minute booking dining by the window. They have a great choice of sushi, sashimi, nagiri... We ordered the gyozas and prawns with panko for starters and the Perfect Combo of sushi for main. The starters were superb, the sushi we couldn't even finish the 24 pieces we were so full so we took the left overs home. Perfect location in Plaza Mayor right in the city center. Great value for money. Very busy place, recommend booking so you get a table as dining by the window you get a lot of onlookers... Will definitely be back to try the salads and...
