A really spanish, warmy and typical experience ! The food was really delicious. You can even order " chipirones" (fried baby squid) which are not on the menu. And they are even fresh !!! Even at seaside, they are usually from the refrigerator so this is perfect :). Also the frying is different... smoother... less fatty. Really an authentic experience ! You can add a plate of jamon and 2 beers at 12 euros... Good opportunity too :-D. See the pictures for the food and...

Handily placed near the Cadiz railway station, our friendly waiter Chico selected a wonderful trio of dishes with a complementing crisp Verdejo wine. Section of 3 cheeses with quince paste and walnut, smoky chorizo, ham and beans tapenade(to die for!) and finished with the pork jowl, slow cooked in 2 bottles of red wine and served up almost black - melted in my...

A Truly Excellent Experience

Had the pleasure of visiting this place last summer. There was some sort of live show with comedy/music. Although I could not speak Spanish at the time (I started learning after my visit) I found the experience very authentic and charming. The food was also delicious and very fairly priced.

I would love to revisit...

Comida tradicional con calidad. Muchas tapas caseras a precio contenido, nos encantó las croquetas de cecina una ensalada de tomastes cherry con queso macerado muy fresquita y diferente, salmonetes frescos con pimientos fritos y terminamos con arroz de cola de toro con un huevo encima (el huevo) detalle de Manolo el dueño. Estaba impresionante. Para dos comiendo mucho y variedad 59€. Calidad a precio muy contenido. Volveremos a probar más tapas y sobre todo los arroces. No pudimos probar los postres caseros pero tenían buena pinta. Si vas solo de tapas esta muy bien por su variedad. Esta enfrente de la estación de trenes junto a un aparcamiento y al lado del palacio de congresos.
