We checked the rating here on google before going to this place and after our visit I wonder if those were actually real.
This was our experience... We went to this place for a dinner just cause it was a new sight for us, we learned that it had been open for just 10 days on our arrival. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant to sit, good amount of light in the local.
We started off ordering some tartar of tuna and avocado that was ok, we would give that 3,5 of 5 mostly because they played it safe and didn't do that little extra like marinating the tuna with their own touch like many other places do in this city.
Then we jumped in to some Sushi nigiris of tuna, eel and Atlantic halibut, so we get the order but instead of tuna we get salmon that we have ask them to fix. So we get the plate back again and sure the fish tastes good but the sushi had too much sushi vinegar in the rice so it was like too sweet for our taste so no more sushi after that. we would give them a 3 tops because of the rice flavor.
We continued with the kingbao de pollo, it was a sad sight with micro peaces of chicken and salad in it, it gets 2,5 of 5 because of how little there was in the bread and because the chicken was way over cooked.
Last we got the Rollito de pato that took ages to arrive and when it came it was cold inside so they made new ones for us because they had deleted the order from the tablet so they just rushed fried it the first time. When it finally came it was at least warm but unfortunately it was nothing special, barely any duck in it at all and the rest didn't compensate enough unfortunately. it gets 2 of 5 from us.
We hope that what we experienced was just opening flaws and that they get them fixed but I doubt we will come back, mostly because there is so many other alternatives that do at least the...
Read moreThe worst sushi EVER. Sat in a completely empty restaurant being the ONLY 2 PEOPLE there. Spring rolls with mango sauce were acceptable, tuna tataki was bland and a "bad colour", salmon sashimi looked like it was cut with a bread knife and we had to ask for the wasabi/ginger that should accompany this, when it came wasabi tasted like bleach, this dish was completely inedible (and was taken off bill as waitress saw it had'nt been eaten) edamame beans were like previous nights leftovers as was the noodle dish which looked like pot noodles. We eat sushi regularly but always in places where booking is a must and you know the food is being freshly made. An empty sushi restaurant is never a good thing. HOW LONG IS FOOD SITTING THERE!!!! A very bad...
Read moreSuperb food, superb service, Pili had a fantastic English. JUST A NOTE AFTER INITIAL REVIEW I have just read the previous review where somebody criticized the restaurant mainly because they don't speak English. My review is not because of this other review, as a matter of fact I realized about it after posting mine. I can't understand why someone would rate a place because they don't speak the customer's language. They are NOT in a English speaking country, it's as simply as that, if she doesn't like it, don't come back and stay in your English speaking country. Google should remove this review imho. Some people think that everyone is obliged to speak in their own language. What a lack of education...
