Made a reservation and ended up waiting at the front for a while until someone came to seat us. We were seated in the upstairs dining room that had 3 tables, which seemed a little weird because there was nobody sitting downstairs, but we didn’t think much into it. It took us a while to decide on what we wanted to eat, however, the waiter came maybe once in those 20 minutes we were deciding. Once we ordered, it took an hour for our food to arrive. The table next to us were locals and received their food within 10-15 minutes of ordering. In that 1 hour of waiting, the waiter didn’t come by once. He happened to seat another party at the table next to us so we were able to ask where our food was. My day was about 1 minute away from walking out when they finally brought 1 plate of food and then over the next 20 minutes brought out the rest of the dishes. It was a good thing we were sharing or else some of us would’ve been done with our meals before the others even started. The food was decent but nothing extraordinary to have waited that long. If you’re not a local, specifically English speaking, would highly recommend not coming here. It was the first time in Spain we felt discriminated against, which is such a silly thing to say, but truly...
Read moreI don't think I have ever in my 200+ reviews have ever given 5 stars across the board for everything but this place is 5 stars across the board for EVERYTHING. The food was amazing. Entraña and La Tranquera potatoes were out of this world GOOD. All the food was good but those two of the five dishes we ordered were phenomenal. The location is small but it has spunk. The staff were great. Seriously the staff were as amazing as the food. Nacho (could have the name wrong) guy with the nose ring was so so good. I would hire him if he was local. He made the experience exceptional. I cannot stress enough if you're a tourist like me (American) this place gives you a great experience of local food, location, service and again great local foods to try. My kids are still talking about the food...

The waitress told me that we could sit anywhere we wished, but when she saw that we were moving chairs from one table to the next to accommodate our small family of four, she intervened, saying, we can't serve four people. At the time, there was a table of five next to us and there were two other guests seated on the patio with about seven tables available. I said, I guess you're not the owner of this place, but she ignored me. We walked away. I can't stand the way they treat tourists in a tourist zone where there aren't even any locals whatsoever....
