This was the second flameco show we attended. We saw a show in Sevillie a week earlier that left us wanting to see more. This was highly rated by google so we booked it. To be fair the performers were very good. The acoustic guitarist started off the show with a long number which was accompanied by a very goid male singer. There was one very passionate male dancer who struck posses reminiscent of John Travolta and the female dancer was also very accomplished. So why did I not give them 5 stars? It came accross to me like 4 different performers all doing their own thing. Each performance was dramatic but it was more of a cabaret rather than a choreographed dance spectacle. I think they need a few more dancers and more duets to get it up to the top spot. I saw a show on the ramblers in Barcelona several times over the years and it was what I imagined flamenco to be, it was gritty, fast and with attitude. We were squeezed into a small theatre right up against the stage with the dancers at arms length and left with our ears drumming with the beat of flamenco. This show is worth seeing but...
Read moreUpon being intrigued by the sign displayed outside, we entered the venue with uncertainty. However, we were warmly welcomed by a young boy who immediately put us at ease. It was especially comforting to find someone who spoke English so well, after having toured the entire city. We had not made a reservation, but I would recommend doing so in order to have the possibility of securing a table close to the stage, even though it is visible from every part of the venue. The show itself was very traditional and suggestive, with exceptional dancers and musicians. The food was also quite good, but I must make a special mention to Jawad, the same boy who greeted us at the door. He was prepared and confident, and accompanied us throughout dinner with...
Read moreMy husband and I just had the absolute best flamenco experience at this establishment! From the moment the performance began, we were completely mesmerized. The passion, intensity, and precision of the dancers, paired with the raw, soulful energy of the musicians, created an electrifying atmosphere that left us in awe. Every stomp, clap, and strum resonated with authenticity, making it one of the most breathtaking flamenco performances we’ve ever witnessed.
To top it off, the food was phenomenal—every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and perfectly complemented the vibrant ambiance. Whether you’re a flamenco aficionado or experiencing it for the first time, this place delivers an unforgettable evening of culture, artistry, and gastronomy.
Highly recommend! If you’re in the area, this is an...
