Lovely quiet, and maybe I should say "romantic", place; clean and well maintained. We lived the atmosphere, we booked in advance and we're happy to see that it wasn't busy. It was a weekday, so I don't know about weekends.
Staff was attent and ready to help, the only reason I am giving 4 stars is because since we arrived it took a while for them to smile at us (maybe my smile was contagious 😋) and because they charge for bread (as well for different types of bread), but didn't mention it when we asked for it and then we found it on the bill - I know this is a minor issue but still worth letting customers know.
The food? Great! First time trying typical salmorejo and it was delicious. We also had tenderloins and a burrata salad as antipasto. Wide wine selection well structured in the menu.

Read moreVery nice dinner experience with good service and very good steaks. We had the Creole Chorizo as a starter and that was surprisingly delicious. Not the expected paprika based sausage, but a much more refined and milder version.
We also had an Iberian sirloin and a Angus Top Loin from Uruguay. Both steaks were tender and very tasty. The were accompanied by a few layers potatoes and a fried green pepper. A bit more of both would have made the dish perfect.
Unfortunately our order came out slightly wrong, my wife ordered medium and I medium rare, the steaks were served the other way around. Not a big deal for us, but for others i might have been.

Read more¡Hola Pocaburus! En esta ocasión nos adentramos en plena judería de 📍Córdoba para visitar @restauranteMontevideo_ Es la segunda vez que visitamos este asador uruguayo que tanto nos gustó. Para empezar, pedimos los siguientes entrantes: -🍟Patatas bravas. Consisten en unas láminas de patatas superpuestas unas encima de otras formando un bloque. Consiguen una textura que nos encanta. Vienen acompañadas de salsa brava para mojar. 🍚Croquetas de risotto. Muy neutras de sabor, no nos terminaron de convencer. En nuestra anterior visita pedimos las de jamón y hemos de decir que nos quedamos con ellas, sin ninguna duda. -🥟Empanadillas criollas de carne picada. Sabor potente al más puro estilo agentino, punto crujiente de la masa como nos gusta. ¡Muy crunchy! -🥟🥓Empanadillas pancetonas. Nuestras favoritas. El relleno consiste en queso provolone, panceta, pimientos y aceitunas. El queso fundido conseguía una textura súper cremosa. Un combo 🔝.
Vamos con el plato fuerte, por el cual estábamos deseando repetir esta velada: -🥩Tomahawk de rubia gallega. Pieza de 2kg. Materia prima de alta calidad. El sabor de la carne es un espectáculo al paladar. Como guarnición, pimientos del padrón y patatitas asadas. Acompañamos el asado con un buen vino tinto🍷 del Bierzo
Para rematar: -🍰Tarta de queso. Textura perfecta, semilíquida. Venía acompañada de una mermelada de arándanos. ¡¡Deliciosa!!
Al inicio de la comida nos sirvieron dos salsas distintas, una muy picantona 🌶️ y una de chimichurri, para acompañar a los diferentes platos.
