All the staffs and people were soo nice in Cordoba, it’s the most favorite places among our 2week-Andalusia trip. However the night in Patio de la Juderia is super not worthy. We’d rather spend twice money in other restaurant… The Staff even danced and blocked in front of the stage, really unprofessional. When booking by phone, the kept claimed show is free, just minimum food price 15euro per person. However when we ordered just over the 30euro, the staff kept saying NO, you must add 1 or 2 platos… We asked for limon and salt for 2 times very clearly, and they were never come. We could see many customers in the same night, left or didn’t even want to eat the dishes, and just let the staffs to return the food to the kitchen. The customers just next to our table were having super complaints about the food, and left even before the show…
*In conclusion, you can find many many authentic and reasonable price restaurants in Cordoba. But really, don’t trust their kitchen, if you wanna try, go ahead to waste your time and money. For the show… you can find other...
Read moreThe worst food I've had in my two weeks in Spain.
I ordered the full course meal with tomatos and tuna for an entree, beef cheeks for the main, and the pie for dessert.
The tomatoes and tuna was 4 slices of tomato, canned tuna on top, and olive oil drizzle. Absolutely not menu worthy and quite frankly disgusting. The total cost to prepare this dish is likely no more than 25 cents.
The beef cheeks included two pieces of meat. One was lukewarm and the other was completely cold. I asked to have it redone. The flavor was alright, but nothing to write home about.
The pie was stale and i had a hard time cutting through it with a knife. I can cook better than what was served here with my eyes closed. If i could give a negative score for the food, i absolutely would. I strongly recommend that you disregard the 4.6 score and look for better food elsewhere. I suspect part of the reason for the high rating is the in-restaurant flaminco shows, and not the terrible food itself.
The only saving grace of this restaurant was the...
Read moreIt was an OK night in taberna patio de la judería. It's a touristic place to enjoy a flamenco night. Food (menu) is a little overpriced for what you get. We had the same menu as our neighbours (who were Spanish and we not) and they did get more plates and bread. The portion of stew we got was one without vegetables while our neighbours got a beautiful plate and portion with vegetables. They didn't refill our bread and they never came back to the table to ask if we wanted more drinks. If you see an empty glass, as a waiter you normally should ask if a client wants something else to drink. We felt like 'tourists left alone'. The show was good and the singer had a very good voice. The guitar player was very pleasant and the dancers as well. That's cool to see. I think they could make the decoration of the plates a little better. We started with a sort of foie gras that looked like a Ferrero rocher but then It went just down hill. Good for one time...
