First I am a BIG fan of quality craftsmanship in any product. If you are looking for spanish leather this is your place!! Absolutely beautiful leatherwork! I stumbled across this store while in Spain late last year. As we walked through the store surrounded by beautiful leather pieces, we were fortunate enough to watch a very skilled woman working on a custom piece for a client. After seeing the quality of the craftsmanship I had to get something. I ordered two wallets for my daughters as a test, and the quality and beauty of the work was truly top notch. I even went back and purchased one of their Iris designs as a christmas gift and again was not disappointed! I do plan on getting a custom piece at some point. Honestly you will not see quality leatherwork like this often. It really is top notch.

Also worth nothing the staff are very pleasant to work with. They're very knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions you might have and will assist in any design questions to make sure you are getting the piece you really want. They keep you informed while your item is being made, and shipped directly to the states in a very well packaged box complete with gift wrapping!

My family and I spend about three weeks in Spain about 2 years ago. One of the places we went to was the lovely city of Cordoba. The city itself is amazing, while there, we were looking for high quality leather goods to bring back home. You can not find a better place then Meryan - Artesania en piel. Located in the old part of town, it is simply one of the best places for high end quality leather goods in wallets, handbags, notepads, belts and bags. They have a variety of colors to choice from and many native designs that are only found in Cordoba. Their staff is friendly ( especially Eva) and when we returned from Spain, I have personally bought several more items and all through their great website and email contacts

Fraud and Theft.

When we purchased their products in person in their store or from their website it was fine. The products arrived safely and in good condition. However, when we made a custom order, the Representative of Meryan asked me to pay over paypal and scammed me out of $200 claiming covid and non-refundable. This was after she said it was “safe” and then asked for more money to complete the order without ever telling me where to send it. When I respectfully asked either the product or a full refund, she blocked all my emails. To date, I have not received the custom order, a full refund, or any form of communication.
