Was so looking forward to our visit here. Unfortunately l took ill and had to alter booking time. I am so glad l managed to get here as it was well worth the wait! Lorraine welcomed us and we met Louise her daughter. The menu had lovely food on and it was so difficult for us to choose. We both started with the prawns and salmon - was really delicious! Included in the price is a half carafe of wine or beer. Then l had the sea bass with dill sauce and Stephen had the lamb. Dessert was beautiful panna cotta with Passion fruit. We finished up with a latte and irish coffee Which was perfect. The place itself is very comfortable and decorated lovely. The carp in thr foyer were very nice to see. We went last night with friends and it was excellent. Exceeding all expectations. My friend informed them it was my Birthday, and when I arrived, had Birthday decorations on the table. The food was delicious, we had an appetiser which was a pleasant surprise. I had the prawn and salmon cocktail and then the lamb shank. Both delicious. The wine was excellent. They also brought a lighted candle with my cheese and played Happy Birthday. Also provided glasses of Cava to celebrate. This was the best meal I have had in a very long time. Me and my partner visited here after seeing so many good reviews and weren't disappointed The food was amazing, the menu has such a variety of choice and everything we chose was beautiful The setting is lovely and quaint, perfect for a romantic meal The service was perfect and the meal was such good value for what you got, appetisers, bread and wine all included with the menu price!
