The place started off nice. Nice calm vibe and ambient light. We had about three different servers at the start. Very attentive, had an issue with their machine and let us know. Ordered food and drinks. Starter came very nice. The owner then took our food away once we finished. (Fourth server) I noticed the staff were very on edge because she was there. She took over a lot of things and didn't seem happy a lot of the time. Our main arrive. My food was lovely I have a prawn sir fry. My other half just had a classic burger. The burger came out very very pink. My other half doesn't like it like that at all. I tried to get a few staffs attention. No one really noticed. We didn't even get asked if the food was to our liking where I could have mentioned about the food . Plus my other half is too polite when it comes to that. The owner came over again to take our plates asked how everything was. We explained the burger was a little too pink for my other half. She explained that's how the do the burgers... We were then left on our own for over half an hour. No refills on the drinks or even asked about dessert. We were near the bar, they all just ignored us. Not the best service I have ever got. I hate to leave this kind of review but this was for my other half 29th birthday, and just because someone doesn't like something doesn't mean you have to treat them like that in my opinion. Good food amazing cocktails. But when asked to try the wine which we didn’t like and said we would pay for another bottle were told we would have to pay for as it was opened. Completely obnoxious manager who could only say when he had a bad experience he had to pay for it which we said we would. Other customers behind us also complaining about their Aperol Spritz so not the only people unhappy with the service. Not attentive to customer needs and very unprofessional felt bullied into paying for below par wine choices even though we said we would happily pay for a more expensive bottle. If he even bothered to respond to this he will say we agreed to the original choice but we didn’t and would have been more than happy to pay for a more expensive choice. I am sure he would have been able to sell the opened bottle by the glass as would most restaurants. Such a shame as we have had so many lovely experiences over the past few days at lovely restaurants serving amazing food and wine with excellent service. Decided to go here for a couple drinks with my friends. Accidentally went in and sat down straight away which your not supposed to do. Even though theirs is no sign indicating otherwise and started getting shouted at across the whole bar to get off the table, wait in the line and to have some manners. After finally being take to a table the service was terrible, no one came to serve us at the table And when we did our drinks took extremely long to arrive (20mins) had to ask the waiter and his response was "their not bringing it to you yet". bearing in mind it was just a corona which comes in a bottle. We then asked for the bill and when he came back with the card machine and when we had asked to split it he told us that when we're ready to go the bar and started walking away.
