Was there last week in a group of 50 after a wedding the previous day. We had tables booked for 4pm and on our arrival we were seated and asked what we’d like to drink. Unfortunately that was as good as it got. After that first drink it was almost an hour before we got another one and it was only because of someone else who managed to get an order in, got our table drinks too. The serving staff constantly ignored people, walking past us two or three at a time. One of them made a “talk to the hand” gesture and said,’wait’. The pool closed at 6pm SHARP while other places either side of this club had their pools open and this was in 35 degree heat. The worst part was that each table was brought their bill without even requesting it. We all left at 7pm after we had three drinks so this is not some lager lout writing this review. They were rude, ignorant and we will never darken the door of this kip again and I would sincerely advise you all to do some research if your in the area and find somewhere better. I doubt it’ll be...

Admittedly, the enthusiasm of the staff was not overwhelming, but perfectly acceptable none the less. Nothing to worry about and it was the end of the season....
The beer was good value. About €3 for a medium one. I had a beef burger for lunch, with potato wedges and it was well cooked and well presented. The cost was €10.
You could argue that the holiday apartments overlooking Perseverantia slightly detract from the luxury feel, but again, this didn't bother us and I don't think it's a problem.
It's the location that makes this restaurant. You can use the pool in the middle, or the sunbeds. Or the small dockside for sunbathing.
Best of all is the stunning back drop of Santa Ponsa beach and bay that creates the experience.
I was slightly miffed that a small motor powered dingy delivered two well-to-do looking woman to the restaurant from a yacht anchored in the bay. But I think this is jealousy and beyond the restaurants control!
Cute girlfriend and Ray Ban's not...
Read moreVisited this restaurant to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, as the location is idyllic looking over the bay, sunset etc. Visited here last year and it was a 5 star. However this year, I felt some of the staff were very abrupt to the extent of being unfriendly. The waiter forgot our drink ,we asked for dipping oil with bread and got butter and mayonnaise. I asked for dipping oil and a bottle of olive oil was banged down in front of me.., I thought the service was disgraceful and to top it of the rest of the waiters were rearranging chairs and tables and when arranged they would move them all again, scraping tables and chairs about for the duration of our meal, totally disregarding us and other diners. I expected to pay a little more as the food is and was excellent but on this occasion the service was really bad, and what was supposed to be a momentous occasion was ruined and will not...
