Little taste of home, excellent English grub, awesome menu, very friendly staff. Comfortable seating, we ate in and took away. Its right on the beach, and has lots of seating, under cover and also an upstairs balcony, this year extended covered seating. Serving Magaluf for over 40 years, owner is from Manchester. Situated right next to beach. My favourite food was the breakfast wrap. Cracking. I always say we should sample local foods, which we did, a lot, on this trip, but it doesn't hurt to go with a little bit of home now and again. My wife and I were visiting our daughter and her boyfriend, who live in Magaluf, and they swear by Tom Browns, and I wholeheartedly agree. Many of the local bars/cafes claim to serve English breakfast, and they have a good go at it, but the bacon and sausages that they use are Spanish versions, which are simply not the same as home. Good but not the same. You can get breakfast lunch and dinner, eat in or take away, pop, alcohol, hot drinks, everything is served here. All of the staff are welcoming and friendly. Our beautiful host Angel is so happy, speaks many languages and makes you feel right at home. This is an essential stop off for any trip to Magaluf.

Cant fault this place, something for everybody. We ate here 2 times over 10 days. Our son is a vegaterian and altho he loves salad we did struggle to find restaurants that served more then pizza and pasta as the veggie option. Tom Browns has a huge menu catering for the home sick brits, the fussy eaters and the veggies!! Friendly staff, made sure our son was served 1st and the waiter went through the menu with him helping with all the options available (our son is 9) He had veggie fajitas 1 evening and a large yorkshire with veggie sausages, mash and veg on the other occasion. We had a rib eye steak, and burger on 1 evening and a roast dinner and a burger on the other evening. All the food was great very well priced, drinks were reasonable. Cant recommend this place highly enough!!

Against my better judgment, I decided to give this restaurant a second chance. What a mistake. I thought my first visit had already set the bar spectacularly low, but this time… I was genuinely stunned. This wasn’t just bad. This was a culinary and service-level catastrophe. An absolute farce from start to finish.

Let’s begin with the food – if you can call it that. It was, without exaggeration, some of the worst I have ever tasted. I wouldn’t have been surprised to find out it had been microwaved in the back by someone wearing oven mitts and a blindfold. Bland doesn’t begin to describe it. It was aggressively flavourless, as if someone had gone out of their way to remove every trace of taste. Dry, overcooked, under-seasoned – a true masterclass in how not to cook.

And the service? If I had aged a full decade during the wait, I wouldn’t be shocked. It was as though the staff were playing an elaborate game of “how long can we ignore the customers before they leave?” No sense of urgency, no friendliness, and certainly no professionalism. At one point I genuinely wondered if they had forgotten we were there. When the food finally arrived, I almost wished they had.

I left this place feeling not just disappointed, but slightly broken. It was the kind of experience that makes you reflect on your life choices. Halfway through the meal, I metaphorically threw in the towel. By dessert (which, mercifully, I didn’t order), I was spiritually defeated. I surrendered. Emotionally, I was buttered and ready for the oven.

Do yourself a favour – avoid this place at all costs. Go literally anywhere else. Eat toast at home. Chew your own shoelaces. Anything would be a step up from this tragic excuse for...

We’ve been to Tom Brown’s twice during our stay, and I couldn’t rate them higher. Their food is delicious, portions generous, menu is extensive for many dietary requirements, the decor is comforting, and most of all the staff are all absolutely lovely.

My husband and I visited for breakfast on Sunday morning, wanting a cooked comfort from home. It can be a bit tricky coming by vegan (and even veggie) food in Calvià, but they did a veggie breakfast and our server suggested what I could swap out- didn’t even need to awkwardly ask! My husband cleaned his plate and said it was even better than back home.

The second visit was tonight for dinner. My husband was excited for a home-comfort bolognese and a vodka slushie, and I decided on the spicy vegan pasta. His arrived and he was left to put on as much parmesan as he wanted, which made it a fantastic meal for him. Unfortunately, which is a fault entirely of my own, I didn’t read the full ingredients of the pasta and didn’t expect soya pieces. I’m autistic with lots of food sensitivities, and had a panic because I was worried it was meat. The staff checked immediately and reassured me soya- which it clearly was- but I still couldn’t eat because of my autistic meltdown. They even made me a new plate to what I thought the ingredients were, but I couldn’t eat. The staff continued to be so kind and polite even though the fault was on me. They didn’t even charge for my meal, drink included.

If you’re by the beach in Magaluf and want something delicious, give Tom...

Not a bad place,I had a cheese and ham to toastie and possibly the worst coffee I've had on the island I was excited at first and they came out with the coffee and a jug of hot milk to fill it but it was greatly disappointing, it was eddieable and drinkable so we did finish it.

It's ok here and I can see why it would be busy but I Certainly wouldn't return, it's in a beautiful location and has the view but simply so busy with signs, darkness with awful lightning it's difficult to take all that in, its a typical seaside cheap place. ( nothing wrong with that)

Due to paying with cash we where asked to go to the till which we did I was left stood there for a while waiting, whist I did I watched a Mojito being made, the mint used for this was stood in a jug on the bar what ever it was stood in probably water was black/ dark brown and the mint was clearly not fresh anytime that week it looked awful the mint that was used for the drink was pushed down into the drink hiding most of it, pulling up the small part that looked almost OK glad I didn't have that. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone on me or woukd have taken a photo.

When the staff memeber did come over to the till he didn't seem to happy about me wanting to pay taking him away from something else

Look, it's not for me however there's many happy people go and leave here and enjoy there time I'm sure we just caught a bad day /...
