Extremely disappointed. While the Pizzas did look really good, we opted for nachos as a starter and the don Vito burger and the vegetarian lasagna as the main course. The nachos were ok but the burger and the lasagna…. The lasagna was literally drenched in cheese, as if they were trying to hide something underneath that mound of cheese - but not the good kind, the kind that makes you go “ugh” after the first bite. Unfortunately we couldn’t stomach more than one bite.
But now let’s talk about the burger: Never ever have I been served such a sad and dry burger in my life. Everything about this burger screamed DRY from the cheap supermarket buns to the frozen meat and finally the goat cheese and onions topping.. DRY! You’d think surely, no one would serve a dry burger without sauce - as did I, but to my surprise, when I lifted the top bun and moved that sad patty off the bottom bun - of course, DRY as I thought, not a single drop of ketchup or mayonnaise, let alone burger sauce or god forbid anything to make this burger less dry. Waiters were very hectic and not attentive - after asking for some sort of sauce twice, finally I had gotten ketchup and mayonnaise - but sadly the burger could not be saved. This said sad burger came with a side of unsalted (hardly fried) French fries and (of course) a dry salad. After telling one of the waiters how we felt about the food, we were shrugged off and we were told to order something else the next time. Surely it was our fault - we should have ordered better food… right? So we asked for the check and of course we had to ask again… aaaand again until it finally came, unfortunately though it came without the card machine - for which we had to wait again. Overall unsatisfying dinner, poor service,...
Read morePlease don't go to this place if you want good or even average service. We booked a table for 8 arrived and were left standing for 10 minutes, then they wanted to sit us next to some bins. We eventually sat down at 8.16. We then waited over 20 minutes before we asked a passing waiter if we could at least order some drinks. She returned 10min and she then threw menus at us. 15 minutes later my husband had to find someone to take our order. We ordered food and a pint of lager and a red wine. We were served half a lager and white wine. I sent the white wine back and had to ask a waiter 10 minutes later for my drink. Our starters then arrived and were wrong but my husband said let's just eat it. The food by the way is average. We then waited another 20 minutes for our main course during which time someone cleared the table but didn't replace the cutlery. Our mains arrived and my order was wrong. They left my husband's with no cutlery and me without anything. We waited a good 5 minutes for someone to come past and told them that we wanted 2 fresh meals and to speak to the manager. This waitress was good and called him over immediately. He had spent the whole night talking to his friends. He just went hm ha and walked away. At that point we also walked. We paid for white we had in full view of the manager and he didn't even offer an apology never mind taking something...
Read moreI can't really say anything bad about this place. Maybe service could have been with a smile but tbh, didn't bother me that much. The waiting staff were very busy and we're very helpful when my daughter ordered the wrong pizza after failing to understand the menu. They eventually changed her pizza at no extra charge after a long chat and what felt like they were reluctant to do it. But they did and I thank them for it. We were seated after a short wait but looks like we beat the rush. Only minutes later crowds were. Forming waiting for a table. I understand why, the food is amazing. The restaurant itself has a god father theme and is very pleasing. The family ordered our food and it didn't take too long. I had a pasta dish and it was amazing. The plate was huge too. I didn't think I would finish it (but I did as lm Scottish and there's no way I'm paying for something and not finishing it) family enjoyed there meals too. Mix of pizza, steak and chicken nuggets. All of which were huge portions and delicious. We had a couple of drinks each..usual softies and wine and beer. When we came to leave I dreaded the bill and was shocked. It was so cheap. The cheapest meal we had our that week on outlet holiday and in my opinion the best. I wanted to go back but wife said no.....boooooooo. anyway. If you are in Santa ponsa you gotta have a meal here especially if...
