The alarm should have been sounded when I asked for jalapeños ‘or green peppers’ on a pizza called ‘inferno’ and was denied - call me strange but I assumed something called ‘inferno’ might be hot, Dante would be rolling in his grave, bless him. Anyway, I forgave this and looked forward to the ‘tomato, mozzarella and salami pizza’. I was wrong to forgive. What arrived was the worst restaurant pizza I’ve ever experienced. It looked like a badly cooked, overly cheesed frozen pizza and weirdly no mozzarella to be found. I’ve literally had microwaved pizzas that are better than this (Chicago Town, not as bad as they sound, try them). I couldn’t finish it, which is unheard of. My wife couldn’t finish hers, which is unheard of. To add to the misery the staff clearly don’t care, they give the appearance of a couple of men in their late 50s who perhaps once cared about pizza but now are just waiting for the cold embrace of death itself. Confronted with two unfinished plates they said nothing, just blank looks, as if fully indoctrinated members of a cult built around the provision of revolting pizzas. Weirdly the reviews here suggest the opposite - I can only suggest they’re in the same cult, brainwashed. Avoid.
