Our new favorite place for Italian in Denia. We loved our dinner here and can't wait to go back to try more of the amazing-looking dishes. We went with another couple and shared the meat and cheese platter to start which was a great size and super tasty.

Then I had the cut strips of steak on ruccula greens with cherry tomatoes and parmesan shavings. They cooked the meat perfectly according to what I asked, just a little more than 'medium' (al punto y poco mas), perfectly pink inside but not bloody. The flavor was wonderful and everything fresh. My husband had their ravoli stuffed with spinach and a black truffle and walnut sauce - so delicious! The house red wine by the glass was also nice.

We loved that the menu has quite a few options and rather than the typical Italian dishes of lasagna and pizza, they have more rustic Italian dishes of meats, salads, pastas and fish and seafood.

The service was fantastic with friendliness and the perfect level of attention. They were so kind and helpful. The interior is also very charming and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well so it was nice and cool inside during the hot summer weather. But they also have a nice-looking fireplace inside and friends have said that in the winter it's very cozy when they have a fire going. We can't wait to go back and try more on the menu. First time to this fabulous Italian restaurant in the heart of Denia, next to a buzzing little square. The food was delicious and some of the most authentic we've eaten outside Italy. The Caprese salad was divine and my Spaghetti with anchovies, plus my husband's macaroni with bacon, gorgonzola and saffron, was perfect. A tomato salad plus a good bottle of red wine, followed by tirimasu, completed our choices. Service was excellent and very friendly. What a wonderful Italian restaurant, extremely cozy atmosphere and excellent, attentive service. Marco, originally from Sicily/Sardenia, however more recently from the Milano area, has been a restauranteur his entire working life, is a wonderful chef and host. His wife, also a sweetheart, make them a great pair. The word “authentic” is overused in reviews but this is truly authentic as the owner is a purebred Italian and only knows how to cook real Italian cuisine.
