Ribs — Restaurant in el Prat de Llobregat

If I could have placed 0 stars, I would have. 3 main issues... Lack of Professionalism Slow service Cold food.

Came here with the family since we were told that this was apparently the most ‘Authentic American’ restaurant in the area. Being from California, I was a tat curious. A BIG MISTAKE.

We have some dietary restrictions & told our server. He then proceeded to let us know of what we could order ( which I thought was very kind of him )

Once the food came, one order was cold, the other was not complete ( i Had to ask the waiter about the order 3 times in order for him to complete it) & one meal was completely not aligned with our dietary restrictions and the waiter told us we had to change it. We asked to speak to the manager and the server laughed. Took them about 10 minutes for the manager to come and once he did all he said was ‘ I agree with you and im sorry’

I am from Dallas so I was curious when I came across this place near our hotel. Needless to say we know BBQ living in Texas. The ribs here were an absolute joke. I’m pretty sure they just threw them on a hot grill ahead of time and then under a heat lamp until they were ready to be served. Way overcooked and tougher than leather, no seasoning (or it was charred off), and served with a dish of watery bbq sauce. Also the entire rack probably had about 1/4 of meat on it at best. Horrible!

Plus our waiter couldn’t have been more disinterested or disengaged. Making sure we were well taken care of was not one of his priorities.

It’s too bad a place like this pretends to represent Texas BBQ and I think the locals in Barcelona would embrace a really good restaurant that knows how to...

Terrible experience .....order came not as we ordered as we have some food restrictions and we made sure to repeat what we ordered and and very clearly more thank 3 times ....slow service ....no sense of service ....as a family outing we are extremely upset and when I called to the manager he doesn't even have a clue how to manage situations like that ....just repeating ok ok I agree without sends of customer service or anything ....at the end we just left as it ended up with only 1 person out of 4 eating his meal although it did it come as expected .....I will.never go back again and really don't recommend it as it is nothing to be compared to those famous steakhouses or American dining world wide for people who are used to the kind of food...
