Restaurante Peter — Restaurant in Finestrat

Visited this restaurant on 16th of July 2025. If I could give it 0 stars i would, because 1 star is too high. The food is disgusting and the atmosphere is boring! I don’t understand that this restaurant is populair (you need to have a reservation). When you sit down, you have to order straight away. They don’t speak English, so when you tell them “can you explain in English, please” they just walk away. There was only one lady (older lady) that was very kind. It’s cheap and you get a lot of food. It taste like it’s 10 months old and if you want to go to the toilet every minute after you visited than go to this restaurant. When we were eating the dessert (after 20 minutes) they asked if we wanted coffee. We said no thank you and they gave us the bill immediately. They wanted...

We arrived here at 3:30pm (of course, we had a reservation, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to) and the first bits of food arrived at 4:15pm later.

I would expect them to be quicker, especially since we had ordered our menus in advance, so, what was the delay for?

The staff seemed lost at times, but I do not blame them, since it was a big group of people, and, from experience, it can get pretty confusing.

The food was really good, but I do not believe it to be worth the hype, even though you get good quality for the amount you’re paying. The croquettes deserve a special mention, they were some of the best croquettes I have had before.

Overall, I would recommend it, but if you want fast service, I would go during non-summer season...

Went there last week and what a surprise we had.four of us went for an early lunch and hadn't booked but were given a lovely table overlooking the beech .The three different starters from the daily menu were fantastic and even the bread rolls warm and crusty .I had the sole and my wife had the steak both delicious followed by creme brulle and pannacotta which had a wobble .by the time we had finished our leisurely lunch the restaurant got very busy do definitely try to book or take your chance early .it's a bus ride away from the old town (no 2 or no3 ) bus but definitely...
