Restaurante Plaza 45 — Restaurant in Frigiliana

We went there good few times and it's always been OK until yesterday. We were 4 people, we sat at a table on the terrace, there was no "reserved" sign on the table. We waited 10 minutes, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. I kept trying to catch the waiter's attention to order (we just wanted a quick drink) but he kept ignoring me. After 10 minutes he made us waiting purposely, he finally decided to come to take our order but instead he immediately told us that the table was reserved. I asked him why he waited 10 minutes to tell us that the table wasn't available. He obviously had no answer and just told us that we could go inside. So we left and went to another bar nearby along the same area. The waiter and his colleague went outside and pointed their fingers at us to laugh at the situation, like they were proud of having made us gone somewhere else. Andalucian customer service at its best! Idiotas...

we went here after reading great reviews.... what a mistake! we even saw people queing here a few nights ago and thought, wow, it must be good. it wasnt! we asked for a drinks menu and didnt get one, had to go to the bar to see what they had but by then my partner had been asked twice what we wanted so ordered a bottle of house white wine, our usual, left half of it as it gave me such bad heart burn!. menu was more for lunch time, burgers, wraps and tapas, a few other options, my partner had a burger, said it tasted like burger king, the few chips i had of his deffinately did. i had iberian cheek... 3 tiny pieces of stewed up pork, quite fatty, 3 mouth fulls of veg and a few bits of potato. would not reccomend. had to go to the indian on the way home for a nann bread to help fill me up and get rid of the...

As regulars, living in Frigiliana for more than 14 years we eat now and then at Plaza 45. The owner is lovely and very service minded, the food can be really good, but at times it has been average and those occasions they seem to have lost focus or maybe they work with different teams in the kitchen and service? The staff situation as said, is very similar, usually when the owner is around they pay attention and do their job, other times they don't and it takes forever to get their attention. Good luck with your personnel seems to fit the poor owner. The location is great, so are the views and when they have their eye on the ball, the food and service are...
