El Boquetillo Street Food and Tapas Bar — Restaurant in Frigiliana

Having enjoyed a couple of meals here last year, I took a friend for lunch. I really wish I hadn't. The service was dire. The girl in the red Adidas top began by asking us to move to a smaller table (which I wouldn't have minded had she treated all other customers in the same way). We then ordered food and drinks...or at least we thought we had! When we'd waited for quite some time, I asked again and she said we hadn't ordered, so we ordered them again. I ordered a Coke Zero, so she brought me a Coke. I asked if it was sugar-free, and she said no, so I had to ask again. We waited a long time for our food, so I double-checked that she'd given our order to the kitchen. She told us we hadn't ordered any food! So, we reordered our food. It was a farce, made worse by the fact that there was no apology, smile or anything from this woman. She clearly doesn't belong in a service industry as she doesn't understand the meaning of the word. A couple who arrived after us and sat at a table for six people weren't asked to move, so why were we? Added to the awful service is the fact that they no longer have a choice of vegan options. You either have the burger or the burger. Last year there were some interesting choices. They don't do non-dairy milk, so if you're vegan or dairy intolerant and you don't like black coffee, tough. I won't bother going back. In response to your reply. The only item on the menu we could see that was sfv was the burger, so we asked the waitress if there were any other vegan options and we were told there was only the burger. I looked at the cake counter as we were leaving, and none of them were marked sfv. The only thing I saw downstairs that was marked sfv...

Nice location with a sheltered terrace. Staff were pleasant & helpful. We were originally all going for the menu del dia. At 12€ this is above average for the area, so I expected something a little extra, However, there was only 2 choices for starters, 3 for main & 2 dessert, none of which appealed (suspected that most items would have been bought in). So we settled for items from the al a carte menu. Ordered drinks that came promptly, and then made our orders (3 burgers and ribs). One of our party does not like peppers, and the member of staff was very helpful in helping choose a menu item without peppers. Having waited 10/15 mins, we asked for bread to nibble with our drinks (wine). 10 mins later none had arrived. I asked again for bread to be told that it was hand prepared - whatever that means (other than an excuse for the delay) - and when it did arrive, it was nothing more than a standard Spanish 'French' stick warmed in the microwave. It says on the menu that the chips are hand cut, but when our food did eventually arrive, the chips were obviously from a packet (frozen). The coleslaw was bland and not made in-house. All salad garnishes had peppers! My rack of ribs were also bland and over-cooked (at 13.90€ overpriced as well), thinly (i.e. not much) covered with an equally bland sauce. Two desserts were ordered, one hot, one cold. The cold was warm in the middle, obviously bought-in frozen and thawed in the microwave. Overall,...

Wow!!! This place is unreal...the music, atmosphere, beers, cocktails and as for the food!!! 😍 Stopped in here for a beer when I first arrived in Frigiliana, it's pet friendly and I had my little rescue with me. The staff are so friendly, helpful and chilled which made my little nervous dog feel right at home. Lovely cold Budvar on tap, the most amazing views any time of the day but watching the sunset from the terrace is just fab 😍 stopped in for a beer but as soon as I saw the dishes coming from the kitchen I couldn't resist. Had the ACDC burger on my first visit...not going to say how many I've had since 🤫 it's something else, the best burger I've ever had!!!! Brought my family here when they visited Frigiliana and it was a winner, they can't wait to come back. Everyone loved their food (wings, nachos, chicken shawarma, those fried lasagne bites and plenty more....A varied menu to suit all, plus there's always something new and exciting on the specials. Totally recommend stopping in here, even for a drink and the views, but you will definitely end up...
