Well starting off with a good point food was great Service terrible got a waitress that didn't speak any English they don't need to be fluent but learning a few words like can I have garlic bread would be a start in the end resorted to a picture she nodded good she has understood got my food but didn't get garlic bread asked her again were is it did not understand asked the waiters no luck there they didn't understand and basically got back to there dinner ! Finally a chef came out who was the only one in the entire restaurant who spoke any English lol maybe he should be the server !finally got it but meal nearly finished at this point very bad customer service I was made to feel discarded and ignored as a customer that is not good and also as a lady sitting on her own even worse the waiter didn't say please or thank you or smile the bread was just thrown down with no apology whatsoever! My last night too shame the food was lovely a little tip learn a little English even if it's just Wats on the menu as in such a cosmopolitan area it must surely be a priority then customers can at least get what they order and don't be made to feel bad and very...
Read moreCozy small venue at the harbour front. Pleasant staff. The Vesuvio pizza had a medium thick crust, fresh tomato sauce, quality olive oil, however the cheese, supposedly a mozzarella, was a yellowish tasteless substance with a gummy texture, with no reference to a mozzarella di bufala or even a plain cow mozzarella. The caprese salad was large, very large, see the photo. With fresh rucola, instead of the advertised oregano. The oregano came in dried snippets. The tomatoes of the caprese were large 'water bombs' who never has felt earth nor seen the sun. You know, those light red spotless, and tasteless, things as they grow in industrial controlled greenhouses. With the plastic-like mozzarella, not the quality to expect for €7 at a place that feels so authentic Italian. It looks good, but not recommended for people who prefer taste over looks. Easy to improve by using nature grown quality ingredients, less in size but real in taste. Four stars for the atmosphere, the reasonable pizza, and the...
Read moreThe ABSOLUTE best pizza I've tasted in Costa Del Sol!!! Claudio is the name of the supernice owner and chef, that include the most important thing in his cooking; - his true love for the food and satisfied customers!! He only uses the best ingrediences, flour and truffle-oil from Italy, amongst other things. The Sangiovese and Chianti-wines is from the top shelf, and brings an extra dimension to the top-class food. The pizza's is incredible, superthin crust, REAL buffalo mozzarella cheese, cured ham, fresh vegetables, and so on... There's a lot of varieties of pizzas and pastas, and the athmosphere is great! Everytime I miss being travelling around Italy, but don't have a chance to travel, - I visit Claudios Ciao Italia. Then I feel like being there anyway. I recommend it to everybody that want to have a supernice meal, in the most cosy surroundings, for the best value for money!!!...
