This will be the most difficult review I've ever written. Not because of any negative aspects, moreover, because this hidden gem of gastronomic delight will soon be overrun with bookings, if not already. I won't repeat much of what we read in previous reviews, the stunning setting, romantic atmosphere, excellent wine choices, etc. as it's all true! We were lucky to book a table on a Saturday evening, the restaurant became full and very busy quickly. Despite this, the amazing house staff were very warm and welcoming, never forcing a smile, and we never felt rushed at all. Plenty of time was given to enjoy the fabulous courses. We ordered the house speciality cod cerviche, having never tried this dish before and after reading the reviews. This time around, it was served with the seasonal strawberries and finished with some toasted coconut shavings (despite my aversion to coconut!). One word - WOW! A gastronomic explosion of flavours ensued. Incredible texture/flavour combinations. Fully converted to this incredibly executed dish! My partner took the beef tenderloin 'black-jack' with the tallow fries, and I continued the fish/cod theme with the fillet served with lobster sauce and Joël Rubuchon mashed potatoes. These main courses were perfection in all ways. Vegetable and salad accompaniments were perfect in every way. Again, WOW...We normally struggle with three courses but are happy to write that we both took a dessert option, ice cream/cream with Max's Belgian chocolate sauce was awesome, the chocolate souffle even moreso. Our evening finished with a cheeky rum and then Max's 'special' rum. The biggest issue for us was making our menu choices, but we overcame this by rebooking before we left so we can try some more dishes before our short break ends. Hate to say this, but if you don't book here at least once in your lifetime, then you are simply missing...

A Hidden Gem in Pueblo Lopez, Fuengirola. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming restaurant in the heart of Pueblo Lopez, Fuengirola. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The place exudes coziness and character, making you feel right at home. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, with the staff making us feel instantly welcome. The hospitality was impeccable, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The ambience of the restaurant was truly magical. It’s one of those rare places where the charm hits you the moment you walk in, and it only gets better from there. The food? Simply delightful. The dishes were not only delicious but also generously portioned. Every bite was a testament to the talent and passion in the kitchen. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem – its stellar service, enchanting atmosphere, and exceptional cuisine speak for themselves. It’s the place you’ll find yourself returning to repeatedly, simply because you can’t resist its charm. A must-visit for anyone...

Dining at Pueblo Lopez was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Everything about the experience—food, atmosphere, and service—was exceptional and thoughtfully curated.

The food was nothing short of excellent. Every dish was prepared with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and dedication in every bite.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of character. Whether you're there for a special occasion or a relaxed evening out, the setting makes you feel comfortable and appreciated. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and understated elegance.

The service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without ever being overbearing. They made sure everything flowed smoothly, and their passion for hospitality was evident throughout the evening.

Pueblo Lopez isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to enjoy, unwind, and savor. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and I’m already looking forward to...

In my work - I get the pleasure of eating out in amazing restaurants all the time and it’s hard for me to get very excited about a restaurant experience. The food I get is almost always delicious and atmosphere is equally delightful. And so when I get to go out on my own - I am discerning. I would rather cook for myself than have a mediocre experience. And… when I am impressed - something is truly special. At @restaurantepueblolopez - not only is the food superb, surprising and satisfying - the atmosphere feels so magical in a quiet inner courtyard with Lucious gardens, a fountain, tasteful lighting and exquisite cobblestone & Mediterranean architecture. I truly loved my dinner tonight. And the staff + el gato 🐈‍⬛ made me feel special and social. 💕 gracias! 🙏

What a fantastic place, a complete hidden gem! My girlfriend’s grandparents used to own a house on this square so it was complete nostalgia for her to revisit and the meal didn’t disappoint! We’ve been here twice now and each time it was fantastic. Cod ceviche with seasonal fruit in a spicy coconut broth was outstanding. Buratta salad super fresh! The sautéed veal in mushroom sauce was so tender it just melted in the mouth and the Cod loin in a lobster bisque style sauce was very good. Service from the manager (could be owner, curly hair and glasses) was really friendly and made us feel super welcome. It’s a lovely intimate setting with the fountain trickling away in the background. Honestly loved it! Muchos gracias
