Cafeteria El Pessic — Restaurant in Girona

I received the worst service ever. I went early in the morning and found a young lady and a young man who were not particularly friendly, especially the young man. Saying "Buenos días" seemed like an insult to them. I ordered a cappuccino and sat outside; a few minutes later, the young man brought it. He handled it carelessly and spilled it, as you can see in the photo. He didn't say "sorry," he just placed it on the table. I said thank you, and he turned away without saying "de nada."

I sat there fuming but calm at the same time. Seeing him serve other people carefully and with a smile is when I realized I might have been the problem. I don't want to say it was because "I'm Black," but yes, I am Black and from Italy.

N.B.: I didn't drink the overpriced cappuccino and water, for which I paid €5.50....

While I was staying and cycling in Girona, I came here to eat twice. The staff were super friendly, and were especially nice to me after they saw how tired I was after my bike rides. The food and drinks are amazing, and the service is friendly and quick. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and I especially enjoyed sitting outside under the sun after a long bike ride. Highly recommend coming here repeatedly...

Buenas noches queridos amigos Este establecimiento que según me indica Manuel ,que nos sirvió, hace ya 7 años que está al servicio de los gerundenses en este establecimiento especializado en bollería artesanal ,por que el mismo Manuel nos comenta que está todo realizado en horno de leña de pino,pero a continuación explico tres puntos interesantes de este establecimiento. 1,el trato del servicio resulta muy amable y agradable ,no puedo sacar ninguna pega o inconveniente, aunque en este tipo de establecimientos la preparación del servicio no es muy necesaria,destacó que quien nos atendió, resultó muy correcto. 2,los productos son súper correctos, realmente están muy buenos y se notan frescos y de elaboración artesanal, creo que no se puede pedir más, dentro de la oferta de este tipo de establecimientos. 3,el precio está dentro de lo normal en la relación calidad precio. Tras estas consideraciones y hablando de un forma global pienso que este establecimiento es muy recomendable para ser visitado ,pienso que 🤔 para un establecimiento de estas características y tras 7 años de actividad su calidad está demostrada,aconsejo visitarlo y disfrutar de un buen café ☕ y...
