Bar Lara — Restaurant in Granada

Very rude service. The woman serving insisted that my pregnant wife and I would not be able to get breakfast anywhere locally (and would have to buy a full meal if we wanted to eat) so we stayed for just a drink. On leaving, we saw that breakfast is served in every other bar in the square.

They also lied and said that payment had to be in cash - then accepted card when I said I had no cash (but subjected me to a rant about how nowhere in Spain accepts card (also a lie) and we should pay in cash only to avoid giving money to the banks).

I had a good laugh at my interactions here. Depression seeped from every pore of the somber woman serving here. So unwelcoming it was funny. I asked to sit at the table which had been unoccupied for 20 mins. She sadly shook her head as if I asked about her deceased Guinea pig. The reviews might say some things about service bit to be honest being in this part of Spain I feel one needs to get used to some things. Also, all I did here was smile and say thank you and the person was more than happy to be of service.
