Staying on the square and as we arrived late bought a pizza from here. Weren't disappointed. Fresh, really tasty and good value. Staff are great too. So good we had another pizza and some empanadas half way through the week. Medium pizza big enough to satisfy two people and if you have this or a large pizza you can have two different menu choices - one on each half of the pizza. Local Alhambra beer cold from the fridge and only €1.60 a litre too. What's not to like! Excellent value, really tasty and highly recommended. Delicious empanadas. If you are at the St. Nicolas overlook, walk a few blocks to enjoy freshly-made empanadas at this small place. The crust is just the correct thickness, and flaky-- not hard and dry as at so many other places. Made fresh on site--we watched the worker stretching dough. The carne picante, the chicken, the spinach, the mushroom-onion-cheese, the ham and cheese -- all standouts. Cooked in a high-degree oven -- not warmed in a microwave. Coming down from Mirador San Nicholas after watching Alhambra and Ciudad Granada painted the colors of the setting sun, famished and tired found La Esquinita Argentina serving Argentinian Empanada and Pizza. Ordered a set of 3-Champinon y queso, jamon y queso roquefort and chorizo y queso. Loved the funky cheese, the mushroom was a gooey delight and the chorizo was on the a bit too saltg side. Bonus drink was limon flavored fuze tea. Quick dinner! Service friendly and dining space...
