La Vinoteca — Restaurant in Granada

We stopped by this place based on local recommendations. Ordered duck risottos, oxtail Burger, lamb chunks, daily menu, ( which is grilled chicken in cream) with gazpacho and a yogurt desert, and octopus legs. All are spectacular except oxtail Burger, which has a tint of sour to it. The duck risotto is fantastic with black traffle on top, and so does the octopus, which has goose liver pan seared just right. The lamb is also really tasty with sweet cooked apple on top to balanced the taste. All foods are great with materials original flavor enhanced and balanced by seasoning or other ingredients. No dish is overwhelmed by just sauce tastes. The total cost will all these dishes are around 90 euro which is an very affordable price. We have 3 adults 3 kids. And we can't finish all of the dishes in the end. This is definitely the best restaurants that we tried in Granada, highly recommended. Will give a 5 stars if the oxtail Burger is up to my expectations. And I haven't give 5 stars to any restaurant yet. This is the closest one. Oh forgot to mention their none alcohol lady...

We went to this place based on the good reviews. The server was wiping the one empty outside table as we walked up and he sat us, gave us a menu for food and took our drink order. We got our drinks via a runner quickly. We spent 10 minutes or so looking over the menu, then pushed the menu to the side and waited. We waited so long that we finished our first drink and pushed them to the side. It was about 25 to 30 minutes. After another 5 minutes, the runner came back to clear our glasses and we asked for the waiter to return so we could order. The waiter then came over and said they were closing in 15 minutes and we could not order. He then proceeded to tell us everyone else close by also closed within 30 minutes and would not serve food past this time (11:15). By the time we paid for our 2 drinks and left, 45 min total had passed, and he was right---no place to get dinner besides McDonald's and Shwarma. The most rude staff . Not a clue on customer service . Place was virtually empty today for lunch and almost every table was empty but they kept trying to give us the tiniest table for two in the back of the restaurant . A muscular guy with zero personality or customer service barked at us and put down reserved signs on any table we wanted to sit at. I wouldn't have stayed or eaten there, if they paid me ! Funny thing was that we then went to a place opposite and had very nice service and could see that the place with the terrible waiter was still empty and the tables with the reserved signs were still unused an hour and a half later.
