Located just a convenient couple blocks from the Cathedral of Granada, Cafe B1930 first greets me with irresistible aromas that travel a mile away, then the super friendly staff received me with patience while answering my half English half broken Spanish questions about their beautiful pastries. It was impossible to decide what to order. We got a rectangular piece with a layer of creme brulee sitting on top of a lot of whipped creme. Their coffee was really smooth and well balanced. I also noticed how the young waiter was joking around with two grandmas as he walked them out the store. Cafetería Bernina has been my go-to place in Granada for years. When I lived here, it was where I met friends and family, had uncountable coffees, and felt at home. Now, every time I visit, I always come back because some places just feel right.

Francisco, the legendary waiter, has probably been here since the dawn of time (or at least it feels like it), always making sure everything runs smoothly. Susana and Inma have that warm, familiar energy that makes you feel like you never left. And now, there are new faces Laura and Rosanna who bring fresh energy to this classic spot.

Lovely and quite big place with room for families. Very good for working or studying outside of rushhours which is 9-11:30am, ca.15:30 and 6-7:30pm. You can sit outside. They have very good healthy alternatives and super good desserts. I made a mistake. They fixed it immediately, let me take responsabillity by changing table so I could not do the mistake again. This was super valuable for me who is working with equipment with a value over 2000€. The waiter and the boss is very nice and serviceminded pluss quickwitted. But has patience and space even for people with Spanish as 5. Language. Very thankful for having this place availible on my 5days...
