I’m super happy to eat at this restaurant on my birthday~everything is great! It saved my mood throughout the trip. It feels more like a restaurant that only local gourmets come to. The waitress introduced a nice non-alcoholic drink. This time we ordered a total of 3 main courses and 2 desserts. The appetizer was lemon chicken soup, which was delicious! It's rich but not heavy, and I can drink ten bowls of it. Main course: ravioli, lamb chops, tuna steak. The lamb dish tastes great. The lamb chops are crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside. You can't tell they are lamb. It's amazing. Even better than the ones in Iceland. The tuna steak is perfect! super tender and fragrant, and you can't stop wanting to eat it. The ravioli is vegetarian (it’s delicious, but I personally like meat dishes). Dessert: pudding and chocolate cake. The pudding was slightly better. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant is very good, the waitress is very enthusiastic and confident in her dishes. The chefs have great skills. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommend this store! ! (Don’t get Michelin, otherwise it may not be able to get a reservation and it will be...
Read moreWow what a great little find! A small menu (always a good sign) and open kitchen (also a very good sign). Modern decor and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful with a wine suggestion (of which there is good choice). We had the pork belly with plums (fantastic) and the aged beef with smoked beetroot (again fantastic and went really well with the plums!). Dessert... what can I say... dessert... as a chef this is important! Again small menu but the choices on the menu are again fantastic. We went for the chocolate cake with limoncello wow, and the figs stewed in redwine and ice cream.. again wow and in my opinion went great when the chocolate cake was dipped in the fig poaching liquor.. does that sound like I was being a pig...? Well oink oink I say! They also have a seperate little side table for drinks... love that! If you are in Granada I would suggest you get there and try this place out... you will love it! OK, now I'm off to bring my blood glucose back down to...
Read moreThe start of this evening was not so good in Granada: bars and wine bars I went to were packed and the staffs not so nice. Hopefully, I randomly stumbled across Manigua. I decided to try and this diner saved my experience in this city. I took a tenderloin with potatoes + a glass of wine and a chocolate pudding with a mango sauce + a glass of wine. I will speak from my French perspective (that may not be the same than a local). It was simple but very good. Both food pairing were very precise. The meat was very flavoured and the Overo 2018, one of the best rioja I had during my Spanish trip so far. The dry moscatel I was served with the dessert was a bold choice but perfect. This restaurant may not be the cheapest but the food and the wines were carefully selected, the staff was very welcoming and I could feel an intention, a special care behind the plate. Thank you very much. I definitely...
