MIMIMI — Restaurant in Granada

I’ve been going to Mimimi since 2019, they were amazing. Vegan and other options, loved how affordable they are. Last time I went was in May and it was great, I got my favorite mikini sandwich and zumo rojo. But I went again today, their menu was the same but the food and drinks were completely different, and worse. The sandwich’s cheese was not melted at all, the bread is different too. It was just cold cheese. My boyfriend ordered a rollito de cabra, which was just white bread and too much cream cheese, not enough of other ingredients. Zumo rojo didn’t taste like before, no flavor of ginger or beetroot. It tasted like orange juice mixed with a super sweet syrup on the bottom, so bad. We also had a milkshake with kiwi, it was not good, it tasted like milk and that’s it. I don’t recommend it anymore, sadly. I used to love their bagel with vegan cheese, I will try to get it and see if it’s good, if not, it will be a disappointment.

Edit: when I asked the waiter why does the juice and the food taste different, he said the recipes and everything has been changed. So he confirmed it will...

I love coming here for two reasons: 1, they have delicious GLUTEN FREE CROISSANTS that I only can find in Madrid. 2, I enjoy the vibes of two workers in particular: Adrián and Edu. They work really well together and as a manage of top restaurants and cafes in the US, it’s nice to see here in Granada.

Cool environment for studying, or enjoying their array of free to use games. Also every delicious food and drink item is delicious/ healthier/ and VERY well priced. Glad...

Soy celíaca y vine pensando que iba a ser una muy buena experiencia. Pedí un croissant de pistacho sin gluten pensando que, aunque sería un poco más pequeño que el normal, estaría muy bien. Mi amiga se pidió uno normal y muy buen tamaño, pero mi sorpresa fue cuando a mí me trajeron dos croissantes pequeñísimos, prácticamente vacíos y sin crema de pistacho por encima, a diferencia del de mi amiga que sí que tenía. La masa estaba buena, pero para valer 2,5 más el suplemente sin gluten de 0,2 se me ha quedado corto, porque prácticamente no se notaba el pistacho. Tras pagar, veo en el ticket un suplemento de 1 euro. Al preguntarle al camarero, mi sorpresa es que ese suplemento es por ser de pistacho, cuando en la carta en ningún momento especifica que el croissant de pistacho venga con ese suplemento, ya que de por sí tiene un precio distinto por ser de otro sabor. La respuesta del camarero ha sido: "pues es así". Bastante decepcionada con la experiencia, creo q no costaba nada poner un croissant más para equipararlo al normal y rellenarlos un poco más para que se notara el sabor. Además de incluir en la carta las especificaciones pertinentes a los suplementos de manera correcta para no encontrarte con estas sorpresas tan desagradables.
