My partner and I were really excited to try Miso because we love Korean food, however we were pretty disappointed. I ordered the tteokbokki (vegetarian) and it was very bland, needed to add a lot of soy sauce to have it taste like anything at all. The sauce was made with paprika to simulate gochujang it seems. The tteokbokki were very hard, like when you eat it the next day or undercook them. My partner ordered the japche (vegetarian) and it also tasted like nothing unfortunately. :-( That’s all on the food.
The server told us he’d bring some sauce and he didn’t bring it. And he delivered my partners dinner 10 min before delivering mine, my partner waited so by the time my food came, theirs was cold.
The part that we most enjoyed, and why I gave it ⭐️⭐️ instead of ⭐️ is that the restaurant is really cute. It’s comfortable, the booths and decoration is nice, the lighting is super nice and chill. We would have spent more time there if we would have liked the food, and probably ordered hot tea...
Read moreOur first meal in Granada after arriving late at night, as we both were craving Korean food so bad. We ordered 해물전 (seafood pancake), 돼지 두루치기 (marinated pork), and 돌솥비빔밥 (bibimbop). We couldn’t shake the feeling that the restaurant is trying so hard not to use proper amount of ingredients. Not enough of seafood (mostly squid, not enough to taste any of it), not enough pork when the name of the dish contains “pork” (mostly onions), and not enough rice in bibimbop (the sauce in bibimbop wasn’t even 고추장 gochujang, traditional sauce that goes into bibimbop). We get that the restaurant had a lot of visits from famous actors and singers in Korea, but I personally think the restaurant has a lot to work on. I hope the owner reads these reviews and grow, not only as a restaurant, but also as a fellow Korean who is trying to survive in a...
Read moreWe stopped by this convenient location on the way to city centre from Alhambra exit and decided to trust the high ratings for a quick lunch.
Nice settings and friendly wait staff.
If you compare by Asian standards or fuss about Korean authenticity, food is a little hit and miss.
We had dolsot bibimbap ( hot stone) , sundubu jigae and fried chicken original.
Bibimbap is quite authentic though I like it more burnt rice. Fried chicken taste is more sweet then spicy and staff was kind to offer level of spiciness. It’s overall a good dish if it’s not dripping with sauce.
The sundubu jigae ( tofu stew) does not meet expectation with too much red pepper taste and it has beef instead of seafood.
They charge €1 for banchan, no kimchi.
Homemade lemonade is good.
Overall price is reasonable, we paid €50+ for 5...
