Very disappointing experience here. Coquinas were suggested. The ración was €18 or €19 and very small with at least 12 clams with shut shells. No bread provided. I did mention that I thought the portion size was very small. I’m going to include a photo, but I should have taken a picture before eating. I’m also going to include a photo of what a ración at La Esquinita de Javi that costs a Euro less looks like. I rarely write reviews, but this should be a notice to Puesto 43 that the price and value of their portions is not close to the level of their peers.

Stumbled upon Puesto 43 and would highly recommend. Milton surged us as was super friendly and very welcoming, making our experience even better. Para el renombre que tiene la decepción ha sido brutal, hemos pedido unos huevos rotos con gulas y un calamar plancha. Los huevos rotos con gulas para empezar eran 4 tiras de gulas por encima, huevos cocinados en litros de aceite que obviamente se ha ido al fondo, y la mayoría del plato son patatas fritas blandengues, nos hemos dejado casi todas las patatas porque quería comer huevos con gulas y gambas, no patatas. Adjunto foto por supuesto Por otro lado el calamar era pequeño y la guarnición de pisto estaba buena pero era pequeña también para cobrar 18 euros, pero bueno, el problema del calamar no ha sido el tamaño ni la cantidad si no que estaba prácticamente crudo. Lo único bueno ha sido la atención del camarero, aunque podría habernos dicho que había más patatas que gulas, pero entiendo que siendo el camarero no va a decir eso. En definitiva, no volveremos ni lo recomendaré.

We came to have dinner here and we were recommended a certain dish which they said it was not in the menu but a daily specialty - some grilled fish - when they brought us the receipt they charged us 45! euro - their most expensive fish (tuna) was 22 euro so we expected a similar price for this one - the experience was not very good - we paid 45 euros for a fish drained in oil and too salty.. it wasn't even worth it. They only brought us one portion of tapas even though we each ordered one individual beer and this was a disgusting salad with olives in a bath of oil. Would not recommend this place!
