GARAJE REX S.A. — Local services in Granada

We booked online to get the same discount as we'd get staying at the local hotel we're at (19€ day). Was easy enough and the barrier automatically opened when we arrived, no ticket given. Good size spaces though the lights indicating which were free weren't working properly. One tiny elevator to get to your floor (2-3 people), we had to queue for it.

Instructions said to swap the email confirmation for a QR code if we wanted to leave and return, which we didn't plan to. When we left, every car was having issues, forming a queue, with every person having to speak with the attendant. I couldn't understand him through the intercom but I think he was saying we should've gotten the QR code ticket from him when we arrived. Thought it was number plate recognition but clearly not. Great parking garage close to the centre of Granada. The spaces are of a good size compared to similar parking facilities and there is plenty of room to manoeuvre. The garage is very clean and well illuminated. There are two electric vehicle charging stations on the right as you enter the garage which can be operated via the Electromaps app (other apps may work?). The staff at the garage were very friendly and helpful. The cost was very reasonable for a city centre garage at €20 per day or if you are staying at a local hotel there is a discount to €17 per day. Very bad experience. I paid two times for one day. I paid by credit card on the machine, and after verification by the PIN the system failed. I shown an confirmation from my bank to the staff, but he told me, that the transaction will be cancelled and I had to pay for the second time. The transaction was not cancelled till today (after 3 months), I was there the next day, I called them many times, but nothing helps. So one day of parking for 44 €.
