We ordered from here a few days ago. The order: Chicken Tikka Masala Chicken Korma Basmati Rice (x2) A Plain Naan A Peshwari Naan
First and foremost. The price in relation to portion size is more than reasonable. One portion could definitely feed two people.
The Food. The food was exceptionally cooked, the chicken was tender and juicy, the rice was light and fluffy and the naan's were spectacular. The chefs ability to cook good food doesn't go unnoticed. Unfortunately the sauces in both the Tikka and the Korma were both sickly sweet, there was no distinction between flavours or spices, this was extremely disappointing as everything else was perfect.
I would love to see the chef make an adjustment to the sauces, bringing them back to the authentic Indian palate.
This adjustment would certainly warrant a return to this restaurant.
To Close. Muglia is a restaurant that stands out in its field with exceptional cuisine and wonderful service, a minor adjustment to their sauce recipes would skyrocket this restaurant to its...
Read moreI can't say enough about this place. We arrived to a very warm welcome and shown to a lovely table with adequate distance from other diners. I was surprised by the number of Spanish clients, although a European mix of customers. We order a bottle of wine, which was very suitable to our palette. The food arrived well presented and full of Indian spices and flavors. It was gorgeous. The naan bread ( we had garlic and cheese) was so mouthwatering, I do reccomend it. Curry is my favorite meal, I like my food spicy so ordered a vindaloo ( after reading other reviews). It was lovely. I will have the Phal next time just for the extra spices. We met Sara, such a lovely lady, who is the chef and I believe owner. Front of house staff was very attentive. This was our best meal in Granada. I truly reccomend a visit to see the staff here, and experience a little taste of India. Many thanks to you all. I will return very soon, but not soon enough. Thank you and...
Read moreLove this restaurant..it's on our list of places to eat every time we visit granada. I'm english, and enjoy a hot curry. when i last visited Muglia and ordered by mistake a mild curry, the waiter shook his head and said respectfully, "No sir, you do not want to eat that. You want something hotter." A bit cheeky, you think? Not a bit of it. The man was right. So I had a jalfrezi and it was delicious. So when you go, listen to the waiters - they know their customers.
As promised, we were back in Granada this weekend, and visited Muglia. As always, very good service and excellent food. We were a little upset at having to wait outside on a chilly evening until the staff were ready - the posted opening hours do not coincide with readiness. However, it was worth the wait and did not put us off from enjoying...
